My Century Tuna SuperCooks experience :)

During my early years, watching cooking demos on TV and seeing my mom prepare the food were part of my morning habit.

We don't own gadgets and hi-tech stuff back then to occupy us, so basically the TV and the kitchen were my only salvation.
There is nothing like a sound of oil splattering on pans and the lingering smell of my mom's cooking in the house.
That made my heart happy.
Mother said when it comes to instilling values to us siblings and teaching us necessary life skills, cooking ranks up there as one of the most important for our future family. And it is true 100%.
She always let us roam the kitchen and desperately hoping that by watching her cook everyday that some of her passion for cooking will sink in within us.
She wanted us to realize that living the good life essentially revolves around cooking and eating with the people we love. Nothing more. :)
Unfortunately for me, I didn't get her "MasterChef" skills and genes, only the eating part, lol!
But I do know how to cook. I needed to learn for my 3 youngsters.
Thanks to recipe books and online cooking demos, they made my life sooo much easier being a mom!
When I got a text from a blogger friend inviting me to a one-day cooking workshop, I never hesitated. I do remember my dad taking us to YMCA and enrolling us to a summer cooking school with my big sister. I think I was in grade 5 that time. It was pure joy.
Anyway, I got excited when Igot to the venue and seeing the demo kitchen , cooking stuff and of course, Century Tuna products ( now with easy open can! ). I felt like a kitchen superstar and all!
We were divided into three groups and my team mates were Ms. Earth Rullan and Tin Gonzaga with Chef Donna to guide our cooking journey. Yes, we are all smiles here because of hunger haha!
Vita Coco was also there to support and hydrate us naturally and we were lucky enough to take home some of their products!
How cool is that?
This view almost made me cry. I wanted to have the exact kitchen top and cupboard for my kitchen stuff. The island was perfect.
We decided to get the corner spot here so we can use freely the island and the whole kitchen around it.
Say Century! My gorgeous team mate, Ms Earth :)
Yes, her name is really Earth. Forgot to ask where her parents got it.
The first dish we made was the Century Tuna Macaroni Salad because it was the easiest to make. Plus, we needed to chill them ahead. Made with Century Corned Tuna.
The Vienna Sausage corn dogs were also a hit especially if you'll make them for your kids. I'll share the recipes next time.
This Baked Ziti was superb because of the three cheeses and of course our secret ingredient, Century Tuna :)
Artsy plating does really make the food twice as yummy! Credits to Chef Donna :)
The bangus ala madrilena was delicioso as well.
Century Tuna management and staff gathered here to witness this event.. and of course , to have a taste of the end products as well :)

Yes, it was indeed a memorable and exciting experience for all of us.
Presenting, the graduates of CenturyTunaSuperCooks batch 2 together with the master chefs!
