Cooking for me is one way to relax the body. It is something many aspire to do more or do better - and it is something everyone can relate to.
Recently, we were invited to be part of the 2nd #ClaraOlePotluck Food Fest that celebrates the summer season!
It is part of Clara Ole's The Great Food Fest which is all about celebration of food from all walks of life, committed to bring out the shared passion for cooking and the joy of eating.
The venue is the perfect place for the best summer party of Clara Ole held at a rooftop of a restaurant in Timog that incorporated the outdoors and took advantage of the beautiful weather.
The whole place became brighter and livelier because of the colorful paper decorations all over the place.
The Summer #ClaraOlePotluck Food Fest was graced by Ms. Amy Perez, who shared her own signature dishes and the guests had an awesome chance to sample them.
One of the dishes she let us tried was the Garden Salad with a bit of Olive oil and Clara Ole Guava Jelly. It tastes divine!
She also shared #Diskartips on preparing home-cooked meals for her family despite her busy schedule. Some of her family and friends were also there to share easy recipes and convenient tips and hacks.
Here's one #Diskartip from Ms. Amy: If you're preparing homemade chicken stock for example, because it doesn't have a very long shelf life and you're not using the entire batch immediately, -- the best way to get the most out of your stock is by freezing it in ice cube trays.

The guests enjoyed the rooftop space for fun summer games with special prizes that sizzled the whole afternoon.
We enjoyed the two delicious BBQ skewers using Clara Ole products. They mentioned using the Clara Ole Inasal marinade for the tastiest skewers.
