Classic Filipino dish recipes with a twist by Knorr Philippines

Recipes of the two classic Filipino dishes with a twist shared by Knorr Philippines during the Robinsons Supermarket "I Love Wellness" event yesterday at Robinsons Magnolia.


SINIGANG SA PAKWAN


Ingredients :
1kg. watermelon, peeled, seeded, cut into chunks
4 pcs. native tomatoes, quartered
1kg. pork spareribs, cut into 2-inch cubes
2pcs. gabi, peeled, cut into cubes
2pcs. red oinions, quartered
2-3 cups of water, add as needed
2 pcs long green chili
1 bundle long beans (sitaw), cut into 2 1/2 lengths
1 bundle water spinach(kangkong), cut into 2 1/2 lengths
1 pack KNORR Sinigang sa Sampaloc Original 20g

How to cook
Combine watermelon, tomatoes, pork, gabi, onions, and water in a pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer and cook until pork is tender.
Add KNORR Sinigang sa Sampaloc Original and vegetables.
Stir well and simmer until vegetables are cooked.
Adjust seasonings according to taste.

GINATAANG MANOK AT KALABASA


Ingredients:
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 kg. chicken breast, cut into cubes
1/4 kg. squash , cut into cubes
1 pack KNORR Complete Recipe Mix Ginataang Gulay 
1 cup water
1/2 cup malunggay

How to cook
Saute chicken breast in oil over hugh heat until lightly brown.
Add squash and saute for a minute.
Add water and KNORR Complete Recipe Mix Ginataang Gulay, mix well.
Let this simmer until all ingredients are cooked.
Add malunggay, let the sauce simmer for a minute, and serve.
