Cartoon Network to visit schools for Adventure Time Art Fair this September

I wanted to be an artist so bad that I actually believed myself that I will become the next Michaelangelo, girl version.
Yes, he was a sculptor, but a sculptor should also has the ability to draw to be able to sculpt something, right?
Others are quite gifted that they can draw master pieces of animals, landscapes, people, objects..
There were kids who took lessons for years and just couldn't grasp some concept--I was one of them. LOL
I've scanned drawing books so many times but the end result would be trash. The only thing I could draw are stick figures and do scribbling.
It's discouraging.
I'm one happy kid when I got an invitation to visit Top Draw Animation Studio, where all the magic happens.
If only I could bring my kids with me that day, I would.
Filipinos are quite talented when it comes to drawing.
Did you know that one of the world's premier animation production companies is here in the Philippines?
Yes, Top Draw Animation.
It is home of more than 500 Filipino animators, specializes in 2D Digital animation and provides a full range of pre-production and production services to leading international producers.
Top Draw Animation produces shows like Exchange Student Zero, Monster Beach, My Little Ponies and Monster High.
I got to meet the master of all masters, the animation director of Top Draw, sir Kiko Lerma, who released a commercial short story animation called Mike Reporting On.. and scenes from cartoon shows Class of the Titans and Exchange Student Zero , a combined anime and western, which will premier on Cartoon Network this coming September 2015.
I was truly fascinated by the captivating, step-by-step guide on how to draw exact duplicates of Finn and Jake. He will be teaching those techniques as well at the Adventure Time Art Fair, a unique art-based program by Cartoon Network and Top Draw Animation which will happen on September.
Starting this month, the initiative brings together workshop and carnival elements to foster imaginative play in schools.

Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum and the rest of the beloved cast of characters from the hit series Adventure Time, will visit 10 schools in Metro Manila.
The first part of the activity of the kids will be the drawing of basic shapes that will somehow turn into something magical, maybe.
The first 15 kids who can submit as many as they can draw, will get a prize. After completing the task, Direk Kiko will then teach them on how to draw Finn and Jake.
Aside from workshops, kids will learn about various arts and crafts at different art booths where they can create their own Adventure Time character from the series' Magic Land of Ooo.
They get to take home a mini-manual containing the step-by-step process of drawing Finn and Jake, and exclusive items from Cartoon Network and Adventure Time.

So, I'm gonna share to you the step-by-step on how to draw Finn

This is how you'll draw Jake

The unstoppable duo of Finn and Jake will also be on hand to join the fun.
Guests should look out for surprise games and contests in order to get a chance to win exclusive prizes from Cartoon network.
