My Urbanize Amazing Race story

Remember the show The Amazing Race on AXN?
It was my dream to be part of it and be able to race the world for the longest time.
You can't get enough of the excitement and thrill when watching the contestants race from unknown place to unknown place, having to navigate with just the clothes on their backs and clues from the one and only Phil.
My only concern on this was how on earth would you be able to run and race the world if you have your PMS?

Last Nov.25, I finally got a chance when I received an invite for a sort of The Amazing Race event in Tagaytay! The Urbanize team thought they would create a similar idea, perfect for a bloggers' day event.
Now, I can stop wondering what's it actually like for those contestants, all of whom are spending months at a time racing around the world hoping to win a million dollars.
No. Not racing for a million dollars but our names were at stake.  LOL
The Urbanize Amazing Race- Ayala Malls Serin Tagaytay edition had 7 teams and Kuya Mac and I were team number 6.
I tried not to regret so much at first because I wanted blogger LOU to be my partner. But I enjoyed all the running with Kuya Mac nevertheless.
There was uncertainty if we could make it to at least the top 5 because we're on our way to senior year (LOL). But just because we're already parents, and thus, a little older than the rest does not mean that it was any sort of a disadvantage. Just the opposite, we showed to the world other 6 teams that there's still excitement for seniors like us. You just need a little encouragement ( and lots of water).
There were 5 stops and we managed to complete the tasks in time.
It was a pretty good experience , we ended up placing 3rd at the race and getting this nice blue STM laptop sleeve!
Thanks to the Urbanize team, we were able to see and familiarize ourselves with the different brands that the newly-opened Urbanize Store in Ayala Malls Serin, Tagaytay carries.
When I visited this latest mall in the south 2 months ago, as a family, we enjoyed strolling and seeing a lovely selection of shops and dining outlets, perfect for both tourists and locals.
