What does JOY mean to you?

Some say a complete sense of self satisfaction.

Others would say by having a healthy family ( true ) and spending time with them.

But for me, it's as simple as getting that freshest, delectable doughnut that melts in your mouth. That alone brings me a moment of JOY, with , of course, a good book and coffee.
If the world's gonna end tomorrow, I would fill up on donuts and exist only with those.

When I got an invite to join the media in welcoming a new branch of a doughnut store, I thought, I want it like I never wanted anything else before.
Seriously, I was so excited.
I have been waiting to be part of the media to cover events for them , for quite some time now.

Krispy Kreme Philippines' recent branches located in SM Angono and SM Makati have simultaneously opened last November 6.
My invitation to cover the opening in SM Angono came from one of the nicest PR Managers of SM, Ms. Vaniza. She even offered me a ride all the way to Angono because I have yet to see the beauty of the place and having no sense of direction is my forte ( or did I invite myself for that ride? @_@ ).
Sad , isn't it? I also lived within the Rizal area for years now but I've never been to Angono.

Anyway, Kuya Leo was a careful driver and the entire ride went smooth. It was still too early by the time we reached the store so we just stayed at one of the coffee shops we found inside the mall. I did not want to ruin my appetite , preparing myself for those yummy treats that will come my way.

Krispy Kreme indeed is the ultimate companion for our cravings and would still be my favorite, my kids' favorite anywhere, anytime..FOREVER ( so, there is such thing as forever ).

People from Angono are lucky enough to have sort of a stand-alone Krispy Kreme store inside SM Angono. Ours is just a kiosk with few tables and chairs.

Of course, I got myself an Original Glazed, my favorite in the world. My mind was in a confused state that time whether or not to get a different flavor. I did try the chocolate with sprinkles and the taste buds still opting and opted to stay faithful to the Original one.

The present municipal mayor of Angono , Mayor Gerardo V. Calderon, also graced the memorable opening of the said store.
