Say Hello To Clearer Vision With Crizal Eyezen! #CrizalEyezenPh

I've heard a lot of good things about Essilor from my sister the Optometrist, who is currently broadening her clinical exposure abroad.

After passing the boards and getting the top 9 spot in overall ranking, I was initially her temporary patient.
Since I needed to spend a crazy amount of time in front of a computer because of work, she offered her gorgeous(her words, not mine) self to become my personal eye specialist. No fee required, of course!
We all know that this day and age of internet, it is really a must to keep our eyes glued to the world using our digital devices-- be it a smartphone, gadget, or tablet. But this lifestyle can actually make our eyes unhealthy. It can strain or even damage the eyes permanently, ergo, a good eye protector is a must.

But honestly, I haven't actually had the chance to try any of their products yet.
I've seen some of the glasses when she was still here, and I know some friends of hers used Essilor too and their overall impression so far were satisfactory.
It's just hard to know which one to use, with so many brands and numerous products out there for the same thing. But she only has eyes for Essilor. LOL

So, when I received an invite from this brand, I did not hesitate.  I bragged told about this to her. The much vaunted information of all time.
This french company, Essilor, the responsible one for creating progressive lenses and allowing clearer vision in the wearer's end, introduced yet another optical breakthrough, it is called Crizal Eyezen, a new range of lenses designed to keep our eyes protected while staying connected to the digital world. Just incredible!

These lenses are designed to replace ordinary prescription lenses or to assist occasionally the ones who usually do not need glasses, when viewing our computers or phones. Prior to the event, they reminded us to bring our own frames so they can change the lenses and experience Crizal Eyezen beforehand. I'll make an update once I get hold of the item.

At the event, we were asked to try this Crizal Eyezen thingamajig, and these bloggers gladly accepted the challenge. At first, all you can see was a blurry image. But then when we flipped the lenses and changed them into Crizal Eyezen lenses, the image became totally clear. Amazing :)
They've mentioned that Crizal Eyezen lenses exist in 3 different developement according to the type of screen most used and the age of the patient.
These 3 revolutionary technologies are :

  • Eyezen Focus
  • Light Scan
  • W.A.V.E technology

These work in sync to relax the eyes from all the digital stress and protect against the harmful blue light.
So, the Eyezen Focus would reduce eye strain for reading small characters, fine prints and such. The Light Scan has a filtering technology that'll protect the eyes from the harmful blue-violet light emitted by computers or other digital screens. This can actually help prevent people from having cataract or other optical ailments. While the W.A.V.E technology, on the other hand, eliminates lens distortion to achieve a clearer, sharper vision at every distance.
Unfortunately, patients below 20 years of age are not advisable to use Crizal Eyezen. Only those people over 20 to 39 years of age (millennials) can be Crizal Eyezen promoter. Why? It was found out that people from 20 to 39 need focusing system because, as Iv'e mentioned earlier, they're glued to their digital devices. Patients ages 19 and below still has a strong focusing ability and accommodation, so this is really not recommended for them.
It's like this :  Ordinary glasses help you see the world, but with Crizal Eyezen, it will enhance the way you live in it..complete with rainbows and unicorns! And I'm really excited to use my own lenses soon!
If you want to upgrade to a much better lenses, you can find the amazing Crizal Eyezen lenses, already available in Clear and Crizal Transitions at leading optical shops nationwide.
