Marian Rivera Meets #TunaySerye Star Jeff for #MaxiPeel Campaign

Last week, I was fortunate enough to be part of the launching of Tunay Serye, a one-of-a kind advertising campaign of Maxi-Peel, and that event has got to be one of the most entertaining and enjoyable that I have ever been to! I was never a Marian Rivera fan but then I saw her beauty and honesty altogether, I was in total awe. I guess everybody was so starstruck. In my head, the word beautiful keeps repeating while staring at her. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.
Growing up was rather easy for me for I've never had Acne, just a few spots that tend to cluster on my forehead every so often especially before my period but never anything extremely severe, but yes, I would still freak out.  But mine would clear up quickly enough after days.
I used to be on one brand, which helped my skin but decided to get off it because of the strong ingredients.
Severe Acne is a common condition but it highly affects most women like Jeff. As someone who has been dealing with persistent Acne for months now, she is fed upnand ready to try anything!
Thanks to the number 1 Exfoliant Solution and the whole Maxi-Peel range, they have been behind every Filipina since 2001. Since the brand inception, it has dedicated itself in helping women achieve #BagongGandaBagongPagasa, including Jeff.

Now, who is Jeff?
Jeff is the star of Maxi-Peel's Tunay Serye and has been the blessing for the brand. Maxi-Peel did 4 go sees and what they were looking for was a real woman with a real story about her agony with acne. The agony for Jeff with pimples or acne started just last November during her OJT and due to exposure to work-related stress and environmental factor, it became worse. The dilemma had a negative impact on her life. They saw during the go-see how affected she was about not able to achieve her dreams just because of Acne, to the point of not going to the VTR that time. Thinking of only wasting her time, effort, and money.
But she's very hardworking, young woman with a dream on becoming an actress just like her idol Marian Rivera. Sometimes, hurdles like that hinder dreams, that is why Marian Rivera, together with Maxi-Peel, are extending their arms to reach and help her to become brave. They both have shown bravery indeed year end and year out.

"Bilang ako ang ambassador ng Maxi-Peel for 8 years, nandito ako para tulungan siya, bigyan siya ng inspirasyon. Lahat ng babae may pagasa lalo na pag gumagamit sila ng Maxi-Peel," shares Marian.

"Makikita natin ang proseso kasi ineexperiment ng Maxi-Peel kung ano ang improvement o pagbabago nito sa lahat ng gumagamit ng Maxi-Peel." she explained.

There are a lot of women with stories similar to Jeff's.
With a kind soul, very talented and driven, but lacking of confidence. One reason is having Pimples. Pimples can affect confidence and self esteem if that person is already being judged or rejected just because of her looks.
This is more than just a product experiment or a live day-to-day product demo for the company. Gaining back this confidence and hope for Jeff is the root of the campaign.
But this is just a brief step for the brand. Maxi-Peel is doing everything so each of us can be brave enough to try outside of the comfort zone, trust the self, and brave enough to hope.

If you want to follow Jeff's beauty journey and need to be brave just like her, visit Maxi-Peel's page.
