#BioessenceSkinLove: The Perfect Skin Care products for Different Skin Types

How's your skin so far, specially this summertime?

While most people might not like to admit that they have regrets, I do have had my share of beauty regrets, like -- I should've stayed out of the sun when I was younger or investing on the perfect skin care. If you look closely on my skin, you would say aging appeared rather early.
Thankfully, I was invited to be part of the Bioessence Professional product line launch recently held at The Beech. It was perfect for me because
I really needed to have better understanding of what was happening on my skin.. on your skin during the twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, and sixties while giving beauty tips in between.
The Bioessence Professional Product launch was all about how their products are customized for everybody according to age, so that everybody in different ages will be confident enough.

But first, we need to know what really happens to our skin as we age and get older.

During our 20's, our skin is still at its best because two of the most important components of the skin, the Elastin and Collagen, are still abundant and functioning properly.
Collagen plays an important role for skin firmness, while Elastin, on the other hand, makes our skin elastic. Skin aging and wrinkles have yet to appear at this age range. Neglecting to invest on the perfect skin care product, thinking it's still okay not to use one.

In the 30's (my age), you may have started noticing signs of ageing caused by circumstances that can take a toll on your skin. Hydration plays a big part of the ageing process. If there is dehydration, there is also a degradation of epidermis and the Hyaluronic Acid is greatly affected as well. The collagen becomes rigid and the skin eventually forms wrinkles.

When you reach the 40's, everything will start to switch off.  Less production of hormones, meaning , the skin is more vulnerable to environmental conditions such as pollution and toxic stuff that will lead to rapid skin aging.

Now, if you are in the 50's and 60's, which is the senescent stage, the healthy skin is on its way to deterioration and ugliness. But when you start investing on skin care during the early years, for example, you took care of the essential protein and structures of the skin by using the perfect product, it will show even when you're old.

Honestly, I've been a Bioessence baby for a year now and they don't disappoint. I used to fear skin clinics and facials but they have been nothing but amazing. It took me forever to try their services and I finally booked my consultation last year and treatment appointment.

For the first product, which is the ACNETROL (Acne Control), is made for those people with OILY skin with Acne and stuff. It has a combination of Salicylic Acid, which is good for shedding off dry skin, remove dirt from pores and eventually help pores to tighten.. and Sulfur, which helps drying out the pimples.

The next product is the PREVENTAGE ( Ultra Hydration ), that is made for people with dehydrated skin. When we say dehydrated, the skin lacks moisture because there is already degradation of certain proteins like the Hyaluronic Acid in the Epidermal area. This is prominent when we reach the age 30. When you limit your water intake, skin dehydration is also noticeable. Alcohol too is a no-no, as it dries up the skin faster.

For the 40's, we need The BIOLITE Skin Line ( whitening ) , as the breakdown of collagen is higher at this age. This is specially formulated with VITAMIN C and other innovative ingredients that help in Color control, Skin Clarity and Skin Moisturization.
This deeply cleanses and removes residual impurities for a clearer and smoother skin.
