#Goldilocks Celebrates 50th at Enchanted Kingdom

June is shaping up to be a pretty exciting month of events and one of the highlights is the 50th anniversary celebration of the country's number one bakeshop, Goldilocks, held at Enchanted Kingdom!
When Goldilocks first opened its doors to the public in 1966, 15th of May to be exact, it had just one site, displaying a small collection of cake artworks. It has become a Filipino icon since then that cherished family tradition for generations of customers.

As part of its ongoing festivities, Goldilocks has lined up a delightful activities through its Birthday Caravan, including a two-day visit to Enchanted Kingdom.
That one fine day saw over a hundred people including the employees, friends, loyal customers, FB contest winners, members of traditional and online media that were treated to a carefree and fun-filled experience at the amusement park, in keeping with the celebratory atmosphere of the 50th anniversary.

So the universe granted me another chance to check out Enchanted Kingdom's Magical world with fellow bloggers but decided to go solo as they enjoy the rides.
Enchanted Kingdom's scenic setting and location make it the perfect venue for Goldilocks' grand occasion, complete with great food, fun rides for FREE, and a variety of other exciting activities.
Heading South on a Wednesday brunch mixed with early downpour was a bit frustrating, but we managed to savor the moment with fun games and snacks en-route.

After briefly sampling the Goldilocks' goodies with a slight delay in everything, it did give us plenty of time to ready our (their) hearts and minds for all those thrill rides.

Together with the children from Children's Hour and other communities, Goldilocks' staff and crew greeted and then entertained us - handing out freebies to the children and sang a special birthday song for Goldilocks :)

Fueled up for the day,  we explored the entire theme park and chatted the day away. The festive music was accompanied by festive dancers and entertainers. The heat did not put us off seeing exactly what the festivities has in store.

These thrill seekers just about had time to throw in a few more rides - or rather be thrown and splashed around and be soaked in Rio Grande - before it was time for home.
It was so unfortunate that we left the park grounds without seeing the grand finale of the dazzling firework display over the Space Shuttle.

The Goldilocks Birthday Caravan is one of the many initiatives that the Philippines' best-loved bakeshop has undertaken this year, in order to commemorate five decades filled with sweet moments and countless celebrations.
Even after half a century of leadership , Goldilocks is still moving forward, finding new and innovative ways to serve its next generations of customers.

Happy 50th Birthday, Goldilocks!
