I first met this fun and inspiring couple, Matt and Teenay, about two years ago back when I was deeply immersed in the Facebook contest scene, well, technically I never really left.

I still remember when Matt told me he added me on Facebook because he saw me as a “huge threat.” I didn’t know whether to laugh or feel flattered at that moment. To be fair, 2010 was a pretty lucky year for me. I found myself winning quite often, and it honestly felt like everything was falling into place.

What started as a little competition quickly turned into something much more meaningful. We kept running into each other at mall events, and over time, we naturally grew closer. Before I knew it, I had become a genuine fan of their love team. There’s just something so real and effortless about the way they are together.

Life eventually took us in different directions. Teenay is now living abroad, and I’m off somewhere in my own little corner of the world. But despite the distance, we’ve managed to stay connected. We even made a promise to see each other again in two years and I’m holding on to that.
