2 weeks ago, I dragged my enervated self to watch the movie The Switch - my perfect choice for a chick flick with a good ending while in the middle of my hibernating state of mind. Perfect timing I thought as I received an invite the next day to cover an event for Head Lice Awareness Month-- Yes, September is the Head Lice Awareness Month. And very timely too for my daughter was complaining of scalp itchiness.
But, what does this have to do with the movie?

You see, one of the scenes there was related to a kid who had a case of head lice and the gorgeous Jennifer Aniston instructed the bestfriend on how to treat it. Of course, now that I have kids of my own, the good mother in me listened intently.

Ginny Guanco’s figures for her painting exhibit at the Galerie Y in SM Megamall are what can be described as a Bohemian’s rhapsody.
The art show, which features all-female subjects, opens on September 15.

September has passed so fast for me, it's already the 7th and I realized just now that I haven't posted my monthly movie list yet. Maybe because the past month really was something else, as there were unnecessary negative/mixed feelings, and moving on was quite difficult.
But on the greater side, had my long overdue biopsy done this day, at the same time I was able to watch Train to Busan - which some even proclaimed it as the best one there is. My verdict?
Average ( sorry ). I love the acting of Ma Dong‑Seok though!

So anyway, as always, I've gathered the movies (tons of them) to be shown this month that you absolutely need to see.
September declared movie blockbusters that are truly worth your time and money, I guarantee you.
I'm already looking forward for a fun fun fun movie bonding with my team this long weekend!
