World Barista Champion 2014 Hidenori Izaki recently visited the Philippines to judge the Latte Art Throwdown held at the Coffee Project in Macapagal Blvd, Pasay City where baristas from all over
the country showed their creativity and passion for coffee.
The event, hosted by TV personality and foodie Xandra Rocha, was sponsored by Allegro Beverage, Victoria Arduino espresso machines, Jolly Cow Fresh Milk, Lotus Biscoff, and Coffee Project.

After the Latte Art Throwdown, Hidenori, the first ever Asian to win the premiere global barista competition from 60 countries, shared his experiences and journey in being a barista. 
"I kept competing as I am completely obsessed with [barista] competitions and attracted to how beautiful the coffee community is,” he said.

Frankly speaking, potatoes weren't that appealing to me back in the day. I thank my mom, she made me love potatoes which has been the key to my staying fit achievement. June indeed has a solid lineup of movies to be released each week. It may be a rough few days for all of us because of the current news, good thing there’s still some good stuff, like the movies, to keep us all occupied for a few hours or so.
I need to wait a few more days to see the best-reviewed superhero movie (according to everyone) on the big screen, no to jam-packed movie houses. Of course, Tom Cruise will be back for The Mummy. I honestly thought Brendan Fraser will still lead the movie but apparently Tom got the part for The Mummy reboot. But I think Gru got June's center stage for the third installment of his ever hilarious film. I cannot wait to see them all!
