A Heartwarming Valentine Event for Moms at ParenTIN.tv I Love My Family Celebration

Last February 6, love truly filled the air as ParenTIN.tv’s I Love My Family Valentine event took place at the stylish The Podium. It was a day dedicated to moms, family, and the little moments that make life extra meaningful.

I was lucky to be invited along with two fellow moms, Michelle and Cathy. What made the experience even more special? Our husbands had submitted heartfelt letters and apparently, ours were among the most touching! That alone made the day unforgettable.

Then came the pampering. We were treated to a full makeover that made us feel like queens for a day. With hair and makeup done by David's Salon, outfits styled by BAYO, and beauty essentials from Belo Essentials, we were completely transformed.

For a moment, I even joked, do I look like Kim Chiu? Or maybe just “Kim achoo”! Either way, it felt amazing to be glammed up.

The event wasn’t just about beauty, it was also filled with music, learning, and inspiration. The crowd was serenaded by The Rainmakers, whose rendition of Binibini brought back so much nostalgia. Truly, originals hit differently.

We also had insightful talks throughout the program. Maribel Dionisio shared valuable lessons on the emotional needs of both women and men, something every relationship can benefit from. Meanwhile, Ervin Facundo discussed the importance of stem cell and cord blood banking. I unfortunately missed most of his talk while getting glammed up, but it definitely sparked my curiosity especially as a mom of three who only recently learned about this medical advancement.

Hosting the event were Tintin Bersola-Babao and Rosell Velasco-Taberna, who kept the energy warm and engaging throughout the day.

Another highlight was Crystalle Henares, daughter of Vicki Belo. She talked about proper skincare and the benefits of using Belo products for both men and women, perfect timing for moms wanting to refresh their routines.

The event also featured fun intermission numbers from kids and teens, adding even more life and joy to the celebration. And of course, the big reveal, the mommy makeover results! We all felt confident, radiant, and truly ready for Valentine’s Day.

As for the prizes? Let’s just say they were the cherry on top. Sweet surprises that made the day even more memorable, I even ended up giving my entire outfit to my sister-in-law!

More than anything, it was a beautiful Sunday spent celebrating motherhood, family, and love. My husband couldn’t make it (he was in Isabela at the time), but being there with my kids made it just as special. Moments like these remind me how important it is to pause and enjoy time together.
