I wanted to be an artist so badly that I actually convinced myself I would become the next Michelangelo, girl version.
Yes, he was a sculptor, but I always thought a sculptor should also know how to draw before creating something, right?
Some people are naturally gifted, they can draw masterpieces of animals, landscapes, people, and objects. Others take lessons for years and still struggle to grasp the basics. I was one of those kids. LOL.
I’ve flipped through drawing books so many times, but the end result always looked like… well, trash. The only things I could confidently draw were stick figures and random scribbles. It was honestly discouraging.
So I was beyond happy when I received an invitation to visit Top Draw Animation Studio, where all the magic happens. If I could have brought my kids with me that day, I definitely would have.
Filipinos are truly talented when it comes to drawing and animation. Did you know that one of the world’s premier animation production companies is based in the Philippines?
Yes, Top Draw Animation is home to more than 500 Filipino animators. The studio specializes in 2D digital animation and provides a full range of pre-production and production services to leading international producers.
Top Draw Animation has worked on shows such as Exchange Student Zero, Monster Beach, My Little Pony, and Monster High.
I also had the chance to meet the master of them all, animation director Sir Kiko Lerma of Top Draw Animation, who showcased works such as the short animated commercial Mike Reporting On… as well as scenes from Class of the Titans and Exchange Student Zero, a unique blend of anime and Western animation that was set to premiere on Cartoon Network in September 2015.

I was truly fascinated by the captivating step-by-step guide on how to draw exact duplicates of Finn and Jake.
He will also be teaching these techniques at the Adventure Time Art Fair, a unique art-based program by Cartoon Network and Top Draw Animation happening this September.
Starting this month, the initiative brings together workshop and carnival-style activities to encourage imaginative play in schools.
Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and the rest of the beloved characters from the hit series Adventure Time will be visiting 10 schools across Metro Manila.
In the first part of the activity, kids will be asked to draw basic shapes that will eventually transform into something magical. The first 15 students who are able to submit the most drawings will receive a prize.
After completing the challenge, Direk Kiko will then guide the students step by step on how to draw Finn and Jake.

So, I'm gonna share to you the step-by-step on how to draw Finn
