Donate ₱100 for World Vision OrangeMag5x5WV and Win Awesome Prizes

In my search for the perfect quote for this post, I believe these words from Mother Teresa may be among the most meaningful and most fitting.

She said that at the end of life, we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, or how many great things we have done. Instead, we will be judged by: “I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.” Hungry not only for bread, but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing, but for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for a place made of bricks, but homeless because of rejection.

Jeman is also a perfect example of this spirit.

Like an extended family, Jeman Villanueva of Orange Magazine TV became part of World Vision Philippines five years ago. Through this, he has become more involved in their campaigns and advocacy focused on giving children better access to education, ensuring they learn in a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment.

These children may still be healing from their past, but they deserve to know that a brighter future awaits them.

I am truly grateful that there is a community like this that helps children find their path toward strength, hope, and love.

Being part of the Orange Magazine 5x5 campaign launch made me realize how fortunate I am to be able to help, no matter how small my contribution may be.

Without World Vision, many of these children would still be left in the dark.

Ms. Pamela Millora, Public Awareness and Experience Manager for World Vision Philippines, shared a brief story about how Jeman became involved in this kind of work.

She recalled how Jeman would casually enter their office and openly share his thoughts and ideas with the team. From there, a meaningful collaboration naturally began.

Together, they continue to work hard to encourage more people to understand and support the advocacy of World Vision. Jeman also helps in encouraging child sponsorships through his network of friends and media connections, further expanding awareness and support for the cause.

Now that he is celebrating his 5th year in the blogging world, despite the ups and downs he has encountered along the way, he chose to mark this milestone in a truly meaningful way.

The event was not only a celebration of his fifth anniversary but also a way to extend support for World Vision Philippines Child Sponsorship program, turning the occasion into an opportunity to help and give back.

Before anything else, let me share what we did during the campaign launch.

Of course, we were treated to a sumptuous dinner generously provided by sponsors such as McDonald's, Goldilocks, and Greenwich Pizza.

He raffled off prizes for those who attended the event. I even won several myself, including the UrbanEars item I had been eyeing the whole time. I got it for only ₱50.

Gloc-9, an active supporter of the campaigns of World Vision Philippines, serenaded the audience with his song Takip Silim and also performed a duet with Ms. Lirah Bermudez.

He has previously taken part in initiatives such as Famine and Pasko Para sa Lahat, and is now also part of the 5x5 campaign launch as one of its event ambassadors.

So, what is the vision behind the 5x5 campaign launch?

The campaign aims to raise funds to support five children’s education, values formation training, and livelihood programs for their parents and communities over a span of five years.
