If you haven't seen my old blog post, I already mentioned that our family is musically inclined. Both my parents used to sing a lot. One of the greatest achievements of my dad was singing live on a radio broadcast. He even won the national singing competition conducted by Imelda Marcos back then. I may won several awards myself during my younger years but that was it. I did not pursue my singing career because of my stage fright. Then there was also the dream of learning a few musical instruments just like the great Selena but to no avail.

My dad was a self-taught pianist and guitarist. He can easily pick out the notes then play the song.
I did try a guitar and piano lessons but no formal music studies that which I should have done.
