Go ‘loco’! Casio launches the G-SHOCK x ITZY-worn Spring-Summer collection in the Philippines

Filipino MIDZYs will surely go ‘loco’ with joy with the much-anticipated G-SHOCK x ITZY Summer Collection release this June.

The collection was brought to the country by CSC Time, Inc., the official distributor of Casio Timepieces in the Philippines. Casio Computer Co., Ltd is known as the iconic Japanese watch brand that produced G-SHOCK, BABY-G, PRO TREK, EDIFICE and SHEEN.

The brand named K-Pop girl group ITZY, composed of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, as its global ambassadors due to the group’s international reach and popularity especially among young girls and women. The powerful, expressive, and cool image of ITZY best reflects G-SHOCK, which established itself as unrivaled in shock resistance and uniqueness of its design when it was first launched in 1983. GMA-S110SG-7A & GMA-S120SG-7A, which were worn by Lia and Ryujin, are known for their clear gold and accessory-looking design. The face of the watches, gleaming in the color of pure gold thanks to a radiant metallic vapor deposition, is set against a translucent band to complete a design that glitters like a stylish gold accessory. GMA-S2100BS-4A, which was worn by Chaeryoung, is surely eye-catching with the vivid bright pink watch band and apple green watch dial. Its compact size and casual design definitely fits those who like to keep it simple but stylish. GLX-S5600-3 & GLX-S5600-4, which were worn by Yuna and Yeji, have a more compact G-LIDE sports watch with a tide graph display. It is comfortably compact and slim, this design also takes its cue from nature. The bezel and band are made with eco-friendly biomass plastics using renewable organic resources to reduce environmental impact. All these watches which cost from PHP7,030 to PHP11,460 SRP have a 200-meter water resistance so anyone can take a dip into the pool with their G-SHOCK on!

From June 16 to August 31, 2023, MIDZYs who purchase any of the participating ITZY-worn watches from Authorized G-SHOCK Stores will get a FREE G-SHOCK x ITZY Photocard and Poster set
