I was deeply honored to be invited to Orange Magazine PH’s 15th anniversary celebration held on July 1, 2025, at Timezone, Ayala Malls Feliz and it was more than just an event.
It felt like a joyful reunion with longtime media friends, a day filled with laughter, memories, and a shared passion for storytelling. And yes, I still can’t believe it, but I took home some truly incredible prizes like ₱30,000 worth of premium skincare from Luminisce and an unforgettable stay at the luxurious Solaire Sky Tower! I’m beyond grateful, excited to use them, and even more thankful to have been part of this momentous occasion. It was the perfect way to kick off July, celebrating 15 years of impact, creativity, and digital excellence.
I’ve known Jeman Villanueva, the founder of Orange Magazine, for years. And while every journey has its bumps, I’ve seen firsthand how much heart, grit, and growth he’s poured into this platform. From the very beginning, Orange Magazine has not just been about headlines or clicks, it’s been about passion, purpose, and people. I’m truly grateful to have walked alongside this story.
Back in 2010, when digital publishing was still finding its footing in the Philippines, Jeman, a former tabloid correspondent and promotions coordinator, saw the future. He envisioned a magazine that wasn’t limited by gatekeepers or outdated formats. He wanted to create a platform that could showcase everything he loved: music, fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle, and share it with the world.
And so, Orange Magazine was born.
Why orange? As Jeman once explained, “It’s the color of dawn. A symbol of fresh starts and new days.” That same energy has guided Orange Magazine’s content through the years: always fresh, always relevant, always true.
His early move to digital proved smart and strategic. Orange became a platform for everyone who knew how to use the internet, especially the younger generation. Jeman intentionally kept the content clean, inclusive, and meaningful, a space where both readers and advertisers could feel safe and connected.
Over the last 15 years, Orange Magazine has featured hundreds of remarkable personalities, both local and international. These include:
- K-Pop icons like Jay Park, One Way, and 2AM
- Global stars such as Westlife, Bruno Mars, Melanie C (Sporty Spice), and 30 Seconds to Mars
- Filipino celebrities and changemakers like Anne Curtis-Smith, Christian Bautista, Gloc-9, Jessa Zaragoza, Glaiza De Castro, Rhian Ramos, Rea Anicoche Tan, The Itchyworms, and Senator Gringo Honasan
And the numbers? They speak for themselves:
- 7.3 million reach on Facebook
- 3.8 million reach on TikTok
- 1.8 million on Instagram
- Over 41.2 million YouTube views
These milestones are a testament to consistency, relevance, and the strong sense of community Jeman and his team have nurtured through the years.
Orange Magazine isn’t just Jeman, t’s the passionate people he’s brought into the fold.
“Thanks to Orange Magazine, I’ve worked with dream brands and traveled overseas. It’s been a blessing,” said Kister Morata, Jeman’s business partner and a fellow content creator. “What started as his dream became a platform that continuously evolves, and that’s powerful.”
“When I joined, I felt the openness immediately,” said Sharmaine Rodriguez, a content creator on the team. “It’s a space where ideas matter, and seeing your stories resonate with thousands of people is incredibly rewarding.”
The 15th anniversary celebration wasn’t just a party, it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and continuity. Guests, bloggers, vloggers, influencers, and media friends, gathered to celebrate Orange Magazine’s incredible journey and the relationships that bloomed through the platform.
From the fun games and photo-worthy moments to generous raffle prizes and engaging conversations, it was truly an event to remember. And it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible lineup of sponsors who continue to support Orange Magazine’s mission.
A heartfelt thank you to the incredible brands and partners who made the 15th-anniversary celebration possible:
