Intellicare Tops HMO Rankings with Strong Q2 2025 Performance and Robust Healthcare Delivery

Intellicare, a leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) in the Philippines, has solidified its position as the top-performing HMO in the country, posting a net income of ₱503 million in the second quarter of 2025, according to the Insurance Commission (IC).



The latest report, which evaluated 28 licensed HMOs nationwide, highlights Intellicare’s impressive performance across key metrics, including financial discipline, claims efficiency, and healthcare delivery optimization. The organization also disbursed ₱9 billion in health benefits and claims during the same quarter, reflecting its commitment to providing timely and reliable support for its members.


Building on a strong first-quarter performance, Intellicare continues to drive the growth of the HMO sector, contributing significantly to the industry’s recovery compared to the same period in 2024. Its solid financial standing is further evident in its total assets of ₱17.3 billion and an asset-to-liability ratio of 1.13x.


Intellicare’s sister company, Avega Managed Care, Inc., also reported positive net income, contributing to a combined 45% share of industry net income for the Asalus Corporation and its affiliates.
