Fun Day with Sisters-In-Law
Last Wednesday, April 17, I called up my Sisters-in-law, Nikki and Sherry to accompany me, in claiming my prizes at Shangri-la Mall and make gala somewhere in Cubao area.
It was also an excuse for me to bond and have a mini reunion with them since I just got back from Isabela and I only got a week to explore Manila.
Sad, eh?
Our first stop -- Shangri-la mall. I needed to claim the prize I got from Ms. Rowena of Animetric's world at PJs sleepwear.
You should check out their store for they have a wide array of really nice sleepwear collections for your little ones! A bit pricey though (I don't usually buy sleepwear for my kids. Shirt and shorts are OK for me).
PJs sleepwear is located at the Level 4 of Shangri-La Plaza Mall Edsa Mandaluyong City. They also have branches in Trinoma, SM Clark City, Limketkai Mall , Abreeza Mall in Davao & all branches of Rustan's.
After claiming the PJs ,we went to Cubao to pick up my one year supply of Sisters sanitary pads.
I was actually waiting for them to ship it to Isabela but for some reason, they weren't able to.
Went to Gateway after to have a super late lunch. Spotted several resto choices. Passed by Sumo Sam and thought it was the perfect place.
I apologize as I forgot to bring my camera and take photos of what we ordered. The food was excellent but the amount of food was just too much. You have to make sure you bring a BIG appetite with you when you visit this resto. You'll definitely leave the place with a full, happy tummy. I had to drink green tea because I was starting to get a bit bloated and experiencing heartburn *burp!
Opted for Miso soup, thinking they'll serve it in a mini bowl just like in Tokyo Tokyo. Well, you guessed it right.
My sisters weren't able to gobble up everything on their plates so they took the food home instead.
We walked all the way to National Bookstore to hopefully burn everything we devoured. But to no avail. We were like noisy walking penguins with huge fat bellies. But SATISFIED noisy walking penguins with huge fat bellies!
It was a short adventure but a fun one indeed. Hoping to have a free time again with these awesome ladies sometime soon!
Manila, please take me back!
