My Food Finds at the Bellysima Food Festival 2015

I have to admit, I’m quite a stranger when it comes to food festivals.

So when I received an invite to attend a weekly food festival at Glorietta 5 Atrium, I didn’t hesitate to go.

My husband, Tone, even asked if I needed a food companion to try the most exciting gourmet, healthy, artisan, and organic creations from over 30 local vendors. Of course, I said yes, I needed a driver to get there. Hah!

Please forgive the blurry shot. We were already running late and rushing to find the location, hence the quality.

At one point, I felt a bit annoyed and thought it might be pointless to continue our food journey since it was already 9:30 PM when we arrived. Some vendors were already packing up and getting ready to head home. Still, we decided to try our luck.

The local vendors were spread out in the middle area of the mall, and it felt a bit overwhelming at first. There was no way our stomachs were prepared for what was ahead.

We walked around for a while, exploring new food finds and exciting flavors. We discovered heirloom recipes, regional delicacies, innovative pastries and desserts, experimental dishes, and organic, all-natural food options at the Bellysima Food Festival 2015.

From flavored flans to artisan sausages, edible cookie dough, carabao chicharon, twisted gelato flavors, chili-flavored coffee syrups, organic detox juices, and chocolate-inspired surprises—there was so much to try.

So, here are my food finds:

The festival runs from sun up to sun down, rain or shine. It is located at the Glorietta 5 Atrium every Friday and Saturday.

Happy food hunting!
