T & J Salon Professionals by Tony and Jackey Now Open at SM City Masinag

Last week, I received a text message from Ms. Vaniza of SM City Masinag inviting me to get my hair styled at a newly opened salon for their media day. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity. Before heading to the salon, I checked their website out of curiosity.

T & J Salon Professionals by Tony and Jackey is, without a doubt, the next big name in SM Masinag’s beauty block. Conveniently located on the 2nd Floor near the elevator, beside Mang Inasal, it aims to become the go-to hair care and styling destination for customers in the eastern area.

As of July this year, the SM City Masinag branch marks the 41st branch of the Tony and Jackey Group. The company has established 41 branches nationwide, including its premium brand Bangs Prime Salon by Tony and Jackey, led by Korean hairstylists, and its community-focused brand T & J Salon Professionals, led by Filipino hairstylists trained under the Tony and Jackey Group.

The salon offers a full range of services, including styling, digital perming, rebonding, and stylish haircuts for both men and women, all at affordable prices. It will also soon introduce a variety of innovative salon and party packages designed to suit everyone’s needs.

You’ll easily fall in love with this stunning salon, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and elegant, modern styling chairs with beautifully embossed lettering at the back.

The stylish interiors of the salon made me feel as if I were in Las Vegas or inside a luxurious space. The place is very attractive, spotlessly clean, and sparkling throughout. There are no harsh lights or overly gaudy interiors, just a clean, modern, and well-designed ambiance that feels relaxing and refined.

Comfort rooms are also available inside the salon for your convenience.

You can see a perfect, vibrant combination in a subtle and refined appearance. The blend of nude and white as a backdrop creates a clean, modern, and dominant style that feels both elegant and timeless. I’m even considering incorporating something similar into my new home soon.

The use of leather paired with wooden elements works beautifully together. Keeping everything within a neutral color palette results in a sleek, stylish, and contemporary salon design. Truly giving off a sense of understated royalty.

Speaking of royalty, this purple robe made me feel like I truly was one! Bow to me, my loyal subjects! Just kidding, funny :)

T & J Salon Professionals by Tony and Jackey SM City Masinag Branch is staffed by Filipino experts who have been trained by their Korean hairstylists. You can feel confident that whether you’re looking for a great hair color or a stylish haircut, you are in the right place.

They would first ask you about the haircut you want. You can choose from their Style Book, which features over 500 hairstyles to choose from. I opted for a simple regular trim only.

First came the hair washing, where the stylist’s assistant used an aromatic shampoo and conditioner. Ms. Trixie, my hairstylist at the time, then applied a keratin hair-straightening product to my hair and used specialized equipment to seal it in, ensuring the treatment was properly set.

The process took about half an hour, but it was undeniably relaxing. During the treatment, they even offered me a drink and asked whether I preferred hot or cold tea. I went with hot tea.

They rinsed my hair again with warm water, then blow-dried it on a low setting. The entire process took about an hour and a half in total, leaving my hair feeling light, fluffy, and fresh.

What I really appreciated was how friendly the hairstylists were. Their light conversation added to the calm and comfortable atmosphere, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Throughout the entire process, I truly felt like a queen being pampered. This is definitely a place I would love to visit again with friends and family, and the surprisingly moderate prices make the salon even more appealing to everyone in the area.

I got my hair beautifully styled, and here I am now, writing all about it. If you ask me, last week’s activity was an amazing experience and the perfect way to end the week. I also got to meet new media friends from Rizal, and my stress level dropped to almost zero.

Now, I’m planning to use the vouchers again this August. Who wants to join me? :)
