Celebrating a Royal Christmas Parade with the family at Sm City Masinag #MerrySMChristmas

The first sign of Christmas for me is when I hear through the loudspeakers of a mall -- a Jose Mari Chan Christmas song.

This may sound weird to you but I don't get tired of hearing the same yuletide melodies being played in every mall I visit.
The sights and sounds of the holiday season makes me feel nostalgic for the good old days and an old-time Christmas. Rekindling joyful memories of my dad when rushing through a mall looking for the perfect present for loved ones and friends.
Christmas indeed is a special time of the year for us all, exchanging gifts and all that. But these days, we start to lose sight of what Christmas is all about--- Family.
That is why the SM Malls are here to bring back some happy memories of holidays past as SM City Masinag holds its first ever Christmas parade!

When I first caught sight of the Royal Grand Parade, I was overwhelmed--as my favorite childhood Disney characters lit up every corner of SM City Masinag with their colorful ensemble last November 30.
Too bad, my kids weren't able to witness how the whole mall was transformed into a magical place, as the characters we all loved and grew up with like Santa, the Gingerbread man, Disney princesses and their princes pranced the hallways.
You can also have a photo op with Cinderella's magical golden carriage situated at the mall atrium.
Shoppers were also visually treated as the three Disney Princesses figures, Cinderella, Belle, and Snow White take center stage.

But what made me smile the most was when I saw Santa hugging Grandma on a wheelchair and got teary-eyed. Dad was also a stroke victim and was on the wheelchair most of the time. He used to be our knight in shining armor but when he had a stroke, he became a totally different person.
But enough with the sadness, for the reason that The Royal Christmas Prade is just one of the many holiday offerings of SM City Masinag for us loyal shoppers.
There will be a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, plus a toyfair courtesy of Toy Kingdom until January 10,2016!

The SM City Masinag is really delighted to see their shoppers enjoy all events happening in their mall and they look forward to having this similar event again next year!
