I asked my daughter what she wants to be when she grows up and her answer blew me away #BarbieYouCanBeAnythingPh

When my eldest daughter dreamed of becoming the next Master Chef and my son opted to become an architect, my youngest daughter's answer left me speechless for a moment.
According to her, since daddy is not always here, she will be the temporary "dad" to us, so she can defend her siblings, especially her mommy, from the cruel world. I was deeply moved.

I didn't expect something like that from a little girl cause as far as I know, she's only interested in drawing, Barbie, and more Barbies..or so I thought.
*insert Julie Andrew's "Something Good" :
"So somewhere in my youth
Or childhood
I must have done something good."
Maybe, I did.

At 7, she is insanely good at drawing, and my heart anticipates that she would choose professions such as architect or engineer. But whatever she chooses, I shall allow.
After all, they're still young and have plenty of time to decide again.
My only hope is that they do not follow my footsteps, that they branch out and do things that really match up with their talents and abilities. Just like what the the newly released campaign of Barbie wants to express -- different possibilities a girl can become.

Its mantra, You Can Be Anything, instills in the mind of the viewers the infinite opportunities and potentials one can dream and become.

The ad is specially designed to showcase how wonderful and powerful a girl’s imagination can be. It also empowers girls that nothing is too big or small for someone who dreams big.
Take a look at this inspirational video “Imagine the Possibilities”. You can also view this on Youtube.
Through the doll Barbie, the girl could be anything she wanted to be. Barbie always represented the fact that a woman has choices.

Barbie is indeed the original billboard for “girl power”.
She has inspired several generation of girls to dream, discover and explore a world without limits – all without ever leaving their playrooms.

This 2016, Barbie continues to encourage girls to live out their imagination and creativity and out to life that spectacular dreams.
Admittedly, Barbie is the only brand that allow girls to imagine themselves from being a mermaid, to a movie star or a fairy fashionista to a princess rockstar.
The deepening of the idea of dream and choice is continuously processed by Barbie this 2016.

As the spot ends with one of the girls – the college professor – playing out the same scene at home with the collection of Barbie, an on-screen text says: “When a girl plays with Barbie, she imagines everything she can become. You can be anything.”

Barbie is exclusively distributed by Richprime Global, Inc.
