What We Did At The Junior Club Fun Day
In this digital age, I realized that the internet made us cold to each other because it gives us something to do all the time. Checking all your social media accounts at once can indeed easily knock hours and hours out of your day. This is the reason why I don't provide my kids gadgets and stuff. Because I normally see people down the street with tilted heads, doing something with their phones all day, making everyone zombies. It's scary.
Do we still value human interaction? Family time? Those were important things when I was growing up.
Thanks to Goldilocks, the country’s number one bakeshop, they let us feel once again that family fun time should still be the number one priority, with their recently concluded “Junior Club Fun Day” celebration held at the Kidzania complex in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Because the more time you spend together as a family, the better chance of becoming a loving one.
Spending time together with the kids most especially strengthens the bond, improving their academic performance, helping the kids develop skills on parenting with a lesser chance of violence, drug abuse and behavioral problems.
The successful event, which was on its second year continued the Goldilocks tradition of giving importance and appreciation to our youth as well.
The festivities which started from 4:30pm – 9:00pm aimed to encourage Goldilocks Junior Club members to learn important life skills by partaking in the plethora of activities offered by the Kidzania establishment.
Such activities include, an indoor “play city” which taught the children the value of spending and earning money by applying for “jobs” one of which was a ability to work and create cakes in a mini bakeshop that has been partnered with Goldilocks, and much more!
In addition to the activities during the event, entertainment acts such as dance numbers were present, guaranteeing a fun filled day for everyone in attendance.
The event was a hit to everyone in attendance as all members, both young and old were able to experience the joy of working hand in hand while simultaneously learning through the process of doing.
