Work better and beat the pabigat feeling with Advil-liquigel

The Filipino language has many words for pain : sakit, kirot, antak, hapdi, and more.

It’s not surprising, when Filipinos are constantly exposed to different factors that cause various kinds of pain.

Young professionals need to wake up extra early to avoid the morning rush. Limited transportation means many have to endure longer commutes while also exposed to air pollution, changing weather, and harsh elements. Those with cars must go through slow-moving, back-breaking traffic. All these can contribute to muscle pain and headaches, which can be intensified by stressors in the office. In the evening, commuters face long lines for their ride and go through more traffic. They come home late, tired with little time to rest before they have to wake up again to repeat the cycle.

Even those working from home in the new normal are not exempt from pain. Longer work hours and sitting in front of a computer for hours with hardly any breaks may cause backaches, stiff necks and even eye strain.

These feelings of discomfort or “pabigat” can weigh heavily on Filipinos and hinder them from being their best selves. Worse, it can lead to chronic pain.

Fight many kinds of pain with Advil Liqui-Gel

Advil is a fast-acting pain reliever that alleviates the pain and heaviness that comes with aches. It provides powerful pain relief from headaches, toothaches, backaches, muscle aches, menstrual pain, minor arthritis, joint pain, and aches brought by the common cold. It can also help reduce fever.

The medication is made from ibuprofen, a type of painkiller that can soothe a wide range of aches and pains . It is also used to treat inflammation, such as strains and sprains. Ibuprofen is considered as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with a good safety profile that is part of the World Health Organization’s list of essential medicines.  This list compiles the minimum needs for a basic healthcare system and includes the medicines which are efficacious, cost–effective and have a good safety profile.

Advil comes in a Liqui-Gel format that is absorbed almost three times faster than ordinary ibuprofen tablets. It is stronger than paracetamol, so each dose can provide needed relief for many types of pain in as little as 30 minutes.

“Filipinos are continuously exposed to stressors in their everyday lives especially now during this pandemic. These stressors can cause headache or body pain, which can prevent us from achieving our goals.

Advil is the solution for these aches and pains, it is stronger than paracetamol for pain relief. It is designed for the hard-working, resilient Filipino workers who wants to deliver their best despite the challenges that they face each day” says Marichu Gozun, Category Head, GSK.
