Anton Paras Music's Newest Single "CAN'T WAIT" Under AltG Records, Drops Today

The multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter marks his third self-composed song released, with the first one being "All I Need," followed by "Binabalewala" under AltG Records.

"Can't Wait," which is now out on Spotify, Apple, YouTube, and all other streaming platforms worldwide, tells a story of a guy expressing how he feels about his long-distance relationship with the love of his life. Inspired by the emotional challenges faced by long-distance couples and families with loved ones working abroad, especially Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs); at the right time, they will reunite and be complete once more.

The rough draft of the song was created in a span of three weeks, but the required revisions took two months to finish.

“I decided to create ‘Can’t Wait’ because of our fellow countrymen working abroad. I wanted to make a song that they could relate to, something that could serve as an inspiration for what they are going through, to help them cope with homesickness. Even in long-distance relationships, I believe that at the right time, they will come together in the end,” shares this multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter.

Multi-instrumentalist means Anton has also shown his skills as a pianist besides being a fantastic guitarist, but admitted that he “always find piano difficult, and that's why [he] shifted to playing the drums.” He also plays the Ukelele, by the way.

During his media con, he revealed excitedly that he has been a fan of Julie Anne San Jose and that it was his dream collaboration ever since.

"Feel ko po na kaya kong mag-complement doon po sa voice niya."

He then sent a video message to her, requesting for a duet.

"Hello po, Ms. Julie Anne San Jose. Sana po makasama kita sa isang kanta, either original or kahit cover lang po."

Anton has also cited Bruno Mars & Justin Beiber as his biggest inspiration of all time, stating "they were the reason why I do music and the reason why I am still creating music."

"Sila po ang ginagaya ko when I perform. I imitate their actions and it makes me happy." ĥe shared.

Being happy motivates Anton to enjoy his passion, continues to express his joy through music, where he has found a refuge and strength, thus, reminds listeners of the enduring power of love and hope even in the face of separation via his latest single under AltG Records, “Can’t Wait.”

The single showcases Anton’s versatility as an artist because of its different genre and vibe from his previous works. “This is a totally different genre from the ones I’m used to. If the outcome of this song comes out positive, I will create more songs like this one.”
