If you’re one of the thousands of food business owners looking to get more quality ingredients for less, we’re happy to report that the search is over. Turns out, the key to creating easy and many recipes elevated in taste without breaking the bank is one liter of mayonnaise.

Food enthusiasts and entrepreneurs gathered at Whitespace Manila, Makati last February 8th for Best Foods’ More Mayo, More Magic Cooking Workshop headed by Guest Chef Mark Joseph – more famously known online as Chef Marky – and negosyo recipe influencer Nina Bacani, where guests experienced the power of one liter of mayonnaise in preparing tasty dishes for the everyday consumer.

Best Foods’ Mayo Magic Sulit negosyo pack launch comes at a time when small and independent food business operators struggle to balance the quality of offerings and cost due to persisting inflation, making the need to find a way to get more food prep items for less, more prevalent than ever.

“Creating a sufficient amount of quality dishes is a steep, uphill slope that small and independent food business operators trek and navigate everyday, “ Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) Brand Manager Nicki Gutierrez said. “The bread and butter of these businesses are the crowd-favorite dishes made easily, quickly, and affordably, and it is being constantly threatened by inflation. If quality ingredients become too costly, operators need to increase prices, which may result in losing diners out. This is what we aim to help prevent, and we are doing this by identifying one of the hero ingredients of the in-demand dishes and finally offering it in a Sulit negosyo pack. Getting more for less, food business operators can now create high quality dishes for a low price with our Mayo Magic one-liter pack.”

In a product versatility showcase, the event challenged attendees to create six dishes using the Mayo Magic one-liter pack. The result? Two servings of each dish, namely: an egg salad sandwich, burger, fries and dip, hotdog, baked snapper, and shawarma.

Guests experienced firsthand how food prep can be made easy and affordable without compromising high quality taste and high quantity demand – both of which small and independent food operators need to deliver on the daily.

“The true magic of mayonnaise itself is its versatility,” said Chef Marky during his cooking demo. “Napakadaming pwedeng magawang recipes with just one liter of this magic ingredient, and it’s time that us food business operators take advantage of the solution given to us. If masaya ang food prep, masaya din ang customers.”

Best Foods Mayo Magic all-purpose dressing is made to be the better choice for food business operators, addressing cost consciousness and the need for a trusted brand in kitchens all over. Being the first double-whipped mayonnaise in the world, it has a thicker, creamier, and more heat stable formulation than its previous recipe. The new packaging also notes lower GHG and carbon footprint with its sustainable design and use.

“We feel that the biggest selling point of this product is that it’s a no-compromise solution,” adds UFS Brand Manager Nicki Gutierrez. “It’s the better choice, because it was consciously made - for recipes to be tastier; for better consumption with its reduced salt, sugar, fat and calorie formulation; and even for the planet. We’re proud to finally offer this in a sulit recyclable pack, and we are beyond happy that some of the industry’s most enthusiastic foodies got to experience the Mayo Magic firsthand at our cooking workshop event. We can’t wait for the new Sulit negosyo pack to find a home in food businesses’ kitchens all over.”
