BDO Foundation Provides Aid to Over 8,600 Families Affected by Floods in Davao Region

BDO Foundation, the social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank, swiftly mobilized efforts to assist communities devastated by severe flooding in the Davao region.

In a united response, BDO volunteers, including dedicated staff from BDO Network Bank branches in the area, collaborated with local parishes to deliver vital relief to families sheltering in evacuation centers. Their collective efforts successfully reached more than 8,600 families across seven municipalities.

Each relief package distributed by BDO Foundation contained essential supplies like food, rice, and clean drinking water—providing immediate relief to families displaced by the floods and offering them some stability during a difficult time.

Beyond immediate aid, BDO Foundation remains committed to long-term support. The organization is actively involved in rehabilitation and rebuilding projects, helping flood-affected communities recover and become more resilient to future disasters.
