Six variants, prices starting at ₱1,548,000, and a new partnership with Anne Curtis headline XPENG’s Philippine debut at SM Mall of Asia Arena

The wait is over for Filipino drivers curious about XPENG’s next generation of intelligent electric mobility.

Global Physical AI company XPENG has officially launched in the Philippines, bringing its flagship XPENG X9 Ultra Intelligent Seven Seater MPV and XPENG L03 Next Generation AI SUV Coupé to the local market.

The Philippine launch took place on September 25 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where around 3,000 guests gathered for an evening that combined new vehicle reveals, technology demonstrations, entertainment, and a closer look at XPENG’s vision for Physical AI.

More importantly for potential buyers, XPENG has now revealed its complete Philippine lineup, with six variants across the X9 and L03, and prices starting at ₱1,548,000.

The company is also backing its arrival with ownership packages that include preventive maintenance, roadside assistance, vehicle warranties, and charging equipment.

A Bigger XPENG Arrival in the Philippines

XPENG’s Philippine debut goes beyond simply introducing another electric vehicle brand to the market.

The company used the SM Mall of Asia Arena launch to present a broader picture of where it sees mobility heading, placing artificial intelligence, intelligent driving technology, robotics, and electric vehicles at the center of its strategy.

The event brought together media, content creators, automotive industry executives, dealer and banking partners, special guests, and members of the public.

With the complete X9 and L03 lineup now revealed, Filipino customers have more options to consider depending on their preferred vehicle size, driving range, seating configuration, and powertrain.

Adding even more star power to the launch was the formal introduction of Anne Curtis as XPENG Philippines’ official brand ambassador.

The actress, television host, and recording artist joins XPENG as the company begins introducing its technology focused vehicles and Physical AI vision to Filipino consumers.

Her appointment was one of the evening’s biggest highlights and added a distinctly local touch to XPENG’s global brand identity.

Anne Curtis Joins XPENG Philippines

Anne Curtis officially joined XPENG Philippines as brand ambassador during the SM Mall of Asia Arena launch.

She was introduced alongside key XPENG executives and representatives, including Katoon Su, Country Manager of XPENG Philippines; Sam Chu, General Manager of XPENG Southeast Asia; James Wu, Vice President of XPENG; JuanMa Lopez, Vice President of Design; Pang Chao, Head of Brand Marketing for Southeast Asia and Australia New Zealand; Vincent Yambao, Chief Operating Officer of XPENG Philippines; and James Qi, Head of Global Aftersales.

The partnership comes as XPENG positions itself as a premium technology driven automotive brand entering a market where interest in electric vehicles continues to grow.

The launch also featured displays of XPENG technologies beyond its passenger vehicles, including the X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot.

Adding to the atmosphere were performances from singer songwriter TJ Monterde, Pinoy Pop group GAT, and social media personality Criselda Alvarez.

“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPENG X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPENG L03,” said Katoon Su, Country Director of XPENG Philippines.

Su also emphasized that XPENG’s Philippine strategy extends beyond the vehicles themselves, with the company focusing on ownership support and building its dealer network across the country.

XPENG X9 Brings Two Premium Seven Seater Options

At the top of XPENG’s Philippine lineup is the XPENG X9, a large seven seat MPV designed around passenger comfort, technology, and flexible cabin space.

Two Long Range variants are available locally.

The XPENG X9 Long Range is priced at ₱3,858,000, while the XPENG X9 with Second Row Premium Seat Package is priced at ₱4,058,000.

While both versions share the same core platform and technology, the second row is where the two configurations take different approaches.

The Premium Seat Package focuses on a more personalized second row experience, featuring four way powered headrest adjustment and 16 point massage.

Meanwhile, the standard X9 Long Range features Zero Gravity seats separated by a central aisle, giving passengers easier access between the second and third rows.

For families and passengers who regularly use all three rows, that flexibility could be particularly useful.

Both X9 variants also feature active rear wheel steering, allowing the large MPV to achieve a turning radius of just 5.4 meters.

That technology is designed to make maneuvering a vehicle of this size easier in tight streets, parking areas, and urban driving conditions.

The X9 also comes with intelligent dual chamber air suspension, while its powered third row can fold beneath the floor at the press of a button to create additional cargo space.

XPENG X9 Performance and Range

Both X9 variants use the same front wheel drive electric powertrain.

The system produces 235 kW of power and 450 Nm of torque, with energy supplied by a 110 kWh battery.

According to XPENG, the X9 can deliver up to 615 km of WLTP driving range.

When connected to a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, the X9 can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 12 minutes.

For buyers interested in customization, the X9 is available in Midnight Black, Arctic White, and Matte Gray, while Silver Frost is available by special order.

The standard interior color is Meteorite Black, with Coffee offered by special order.

XPENG L03 Gives Buyers Four Powertrain Choices

If the X9 represents XPENG’s flagship approach to electric mobility, the XPENG L03 Next Generation AI SUV Coupé brings the brand into a more accessible price range.

The L03 launches in the Philippines with four variants, including three battery electric models and one range extended electric vehicle.

The lineup starts with the XPENG L03 EV Standard Range at ₱1,548,000.

Above it is the XPENG L03 REEV at ₱1,598,000, followed by the XPENG L03 EV Long Range at ₱1,698,000.

At the top of the L03 range is the previously announced XPENG L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra, priced at ₱2,058,000.

This gives Filipino buyers several ways to approach electric mobility, from a more affordable standard range EV to a long range model and a range extended option designed for drivers who want additional flexibility on longer journeys.

L03 Long Range Ultra Packs More Technology

The flagship L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra comes with a 71.1 kWh battery and a driving range of up to 480 km.

It also brings additional equipment, including front seat massage, an upgraded sound system, and additional intelligent driving hardware.

The L03 EV Long Range uses the same 71.1 kWh battery but offers up to 520 km of driving range.

Meanwhile, the L03 EV Standard Range uses a 58.3 kWh battery and provides up to 445 km of range, giving buyers a lower entry point into the L03 electric lineup.

L03 REEV Adds Long Distance Flexibility

One of the more interesting additions to the Philippine lineup is the XPENG L03 REEV, or range extended electric vehicle.

The idea is straightforward. The vehicle drives using an electric motor, while an onboard engine can generate electricity for the battery when additional range is needed.

The L03 REEV features a 37.2 kWh battery, giving it up to 215 km of pure electric range.

That means many daily commutes, errands, and even some intercity trips can potentially be completed using battery power alone.

When more range is required, the onboard engine generates electricity rather than directly powering the wheels.

XPENG says this allows the L03 REEV to achieve a combined WLTP range of up to 1,017 km.

All four L03 variants use an electric motor to drive the rear wheels.

With a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, the L03 lineup can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes.

Inside the XPENG L03

Regardless of variant, the L03 provides a five seat cabin designed around technology and everyday usability.

The vehicle features a 539 liter rear luggage area and a 15.6 inch central touchscreen.

XPENG’s driver assistance and safety technologies are also included across the lineup.

Exterior color choices include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, and Phantom Purple, paired with a Dark Gray interior.

XPENG Adds Ownership Support to Its Philippine Launch

Buying an electric vehicle involves more than choosing a model and battery size, particularly for customers making the switch from conventional vehicles.

XPENG Philippines is therefore launching its vehicles with ownership packages covering maintenance, roadside assistance, warranties, and charging equipment.

For the XPENG X9, customers receive:

  • Five years of free preventive maintenance
  • Five years of free roadside assistance
  • Five year bumper to bumper warranty
  • Eight year warranty for the battery and electric motor
  • 7 kW wall charger

For the XPENG L03, customers receive:

  • Two years of free preventive maintenance
  • Five years of free roadside assistance
  • Five year bumper to bumper warranty
  • Eight year warranty for the battery and electric motor

L03 EV customers receive a 7 kW wall charger, while the L03 REEV comes with a 3.5 kW portable charger.

How to Reserve the XPENG X9 and L03

Customers interested in securing an XPENG can now make reservations.

The XPENG X9 requires a ₱25,000 reservation, while the XPENG L03 requires ₱10,000.

Reservations can be made by messaging @xpengphilippines on Facebook or Instagram.

Customers can also make reservations through XPENG Greenhills, XPENG Makati, XPENG North EDSA, and XPENG Cebu.

Deliveries are expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2026, although actual availability may vary depending on the selected model, variant, color, and dealer allocation.

XPENG Philippines also plans to expand its dealership and service network as it continues its rollout across the country.

XPENG’s Bigger Push Into Physical AI

The Philippine launch is part of a much larger strategy for XPENG.

The company describes itself as a global Physical AI company, developing AI powered electric vehicles and intelligent machines designed to perceive, understand, and respond to the physical world.

More than 40 percent of XPENG’s workforce is dedicated to research and development, covering areas such as artificial intelligence, software, robotics, and advanced mobility.

The company develops several key technologies in house, including artificial intelligence systems, driver assistance technology, intelligent vehicle operating systems, powertrains, and electrical and electronic architecture.

By the end of 2025, XPENG had established a presence in 60 countries and regions.

As of July 31, 2026, the company says its cumulative global vehicle deliveries had surpassed 1.2 million units.

The Philippine operation is particularly significant for the company because XPENG Philippines is a direct subsidiary of XPENG and its first subsidiary in Southeast Asia.

A New Chapter for XPENG in the Philippines

With six variants now officially available, XPENG’s Philippine launch gives local buyers a broader look at what the company brings to the electric vehicle market.

The X9 targets buyers looking for a premium, spacious seven seat vehicle packed with technology, while the L03 offers several approaches to electric driving at a lower starting price.

The addition of a range extended variant also gives customers another option for balancing everyday electric driving with longer distance flexibility.

And with Anne Curtis joining the brand, a growing dealer network, ownership support packages, and XPENG’s wider push into Physical AI, the company is positioning its Philippine arrival as more than a vehicle launch.

It is the beginning of a broader technology and mobility story for the brand in the country.
