May Month Giveaway
The month of May is very close to my heart and the most special one.
Why?
Because, i'ts my Ayli Sandrine's birth month, my sister's birth month, my late mother-in-law's birth month, my cousin's birth month , my best friend's birth month , Mother's day and ahem ahem, my birth month as well!!

I'm a "Laking National Bookstore" , that's why I'll be giving away things from NATIONAL BOOKSTORE. Again, please don't expect anything "bongga"( Filipino word for "Extravagant"). Hope you can join my MAY MONTH promo.

NATIONAL BOOKSTORE is my kids' favorite "tambayan" (hang out place) whenever we are in the mall. They are not really strict when kids read their books. Some of the books there are not entirely covered with plastic , they make kids want to read.

ReplyDeleteI spent my young years with my grandmother, she sort of adopted me from my parents when I was still a month old because my mom was too young when she gave birth to me and my twin sister, so they have to separate us, so that mom can take care of my other sister. My lola is my mom, technically, since she was the one who supported me all the way. For me she is unique in so many ways, but mainly, even if she's old with gray hair, she was not ashamed to carry me where ever she goes, even if people are talking about her behind her back, telling other people that she still has a baby despite her very old age. Little did they know that I'm just her grandchild.

May be her gift to analyze things and give good advices. When it comes to troubles she's the one I'm asking for it's analyzing and for they're proper way out. She's also a good listener and always try to put herself into others' place so that she can get a nice understanding. She can manage to get away from a situation in a quick and easy way. But most of all, the LOVE, she love us inspite of our capabilities and those we don't have. She dont accept the negative things that people may have to say about us. That's my mom! She stands out the most.

ReplyDeleteMy mom is the best mom for me. She grew up serving her siblings when their mom died. She was not able to finish school but did her best to help out. When she had her first family, she underwent a very devastating marital situation. She fought back and took her children and did her very best to take care of them all. And when my dad came to her life, she did the best way a mom could be. She made a way for everyone to be happy. She took care of us all and gave us everything she could in her own little ways. My dad helped her too in raising her kids and now we are one big “not perfect” but a happy family. Thanks to our strong mom!!

There was a time back in college when I was having difficulties with my studies, primarily because I couldn't learn to love a course that was built on compassion and empathy. It was a very difficult time for me, as everything seemed to be falling apart, me losing faith in myself, and at times, in God. I remember telling my mom one day that I won't come home during the weekend and would just stay in the condo/dorm alone. I told her, "magmumura ako, hanggang sa mawalan ako ng boses at makatulog ako kakaiyak". Her reply surprised me, and made me believe that God is really good for blessing me with a supportive and caring mom. She didn't get mad for my lack of respect. She only replied, "Gusto mo, samahan kitang magmura?" Her reaction gave me strength and reminded me that I am not doing this only for myself, but also for my family who loves me very much.
my mom is the best mom in the whole wide world!! ang pinakagusto ko sa kanya ay ang kangyang pagiging matapang at matatag sa lahat ng pagsubok na dumating sa kanya. Kahit madalas kaming mag away, nanjan pa rin siya para tulungan ako sa mga problemang dumating sakin. Naaalala ko pa nung nalaman niang buntis ako sa aking anak. Nakita kong nasaktan siya pero sinamahan at tinulungan pa rin nia ako sa buong pagbubuntis ko. Habang ako'y hinang hina, xa ang nagiging lakas ko, siya ang nagpapalakas ng loob ko para makayanan ang napakaselang pagbubuntis ko. Siya ang nagpapaligo sakin gawa ng hindi ako makakilos. Sa tuwing nilalagnat ako, siya ang napupuyat para alagaan ako. Nung mga panahon na yun, siya rin ang nag aalaga sa kanyang nanay.. Nung ma ospital ako, sabay namang namatay ang lola ko at naospital rin ang isa kong kapatid dahil sa dengue. Pero naging matatag siya at kinaya niyang lahat ng yon. Nanampalataya lang siya k God at hindi siya nag papanic sa lahat ng nangyari..
ReplyDeleteMy mom has always been my inspiration. She's a woman of strength and hope. Her great faith with God makes the devil cringe in fear. My mother was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in 2002. At 43, she underwent mastectomy and six rapid sessions of chemotherapy. I witnessed her pain and agony. After five years of battling breast cancer, we thought she was totally cured, but the recurrence of cancer was so fast. At stage 4, she keeps on fighting her battle. She remained strong, despite knowing the fact that there is no cure. Her doctor told us there’s nothing he could do anymore, no medicine nor another chemotherapy would cure her but my mom never lose her hope, never did I saw her cry while hearing those words from her doctor, inspite of her illness she remained brave and focused. Her strong faith with God made her accept everything without the feeling of fear or anger in her heart. If you'll see her back then you might not believe she has cancer, she looks healthy more than ever, she still manage to take care of herself and help the people in need of her attention and love. She has been an inspiration to others. She was surrounded by the people who loved her dearly until her last breath. The woman who loved her children more than herself and raised them well, the woman I called mother is MY AMAZING GRACE. I am very proud to be her daughter.

i love my mom very very much, and i know that she loves me too very much.. when i was diagnosed that i have dengue and i need blood.. with no hesitations at all my mom gave her blood to me to continue my life.. walang inang kayang tiisin ang kanyang anak.. she is really a superb mom.. she never fails to give all that i need.. now that i am also a mom, i understand how she feels towards us, because that is also i felt for my baby.. love you mom, forever..

ReplyDeleteMy mama is very kind and down to earth person. being a mother of 11 children is really hard. haha. lahat kmi makukulit. but imagine na sa dami nming magkakapatid she still able to raise us as a good person and she really works hard just to make sure na we finish our college. now, I already have my own family, I realized na sobrang mahal talaga ng mga mommies ang mga anak nila. kaya pala umiyak si mama ng mag asawa agad ako. haha. anyway, happy mother's day to my mama. lab u. mwah. mhwah.

One thing im proud of my mom is that the way she is.. she's not just a mother to us, she's also a friend, and a sister.. she understand what we feel and what we are going thru as a teen and when we're still young before.. i love my mom simply because she is our MOM.. MY MOM.. :)

I could not ask for a better mom. Although 'di kami masyado "super close" ng mom ko, but i am Super Proud of her. My mom is loving, caring, supportive & she's just simply AWESOME! =)Kahit anong kagagahan ^_* na pinaggagawa nmin (with my other siblings) sa aming mga buhay-buhay (I & my sis, we are both get preggy at early age; my other sis is soo bulakbol laging layas bahay)& yet my mom was always there for US through those hard times in our lives w/out even judging us or asking us "why u did this & why you did that". She has always gone above and beyond for me and my other siblings throughout our lives & even to her apo's. I even saw her most of the times lalo na pag super dami na problema, namamaga eyes nya but NEVER nya pinapakita sa amin that she's crying! =( Parang she wanted to show to us that she should stay strong for US. That's why i really love her & admire her soo much!! My mom is not just a mom, she is my SUPERMOM! =)

My mom is a Jack of all Trades & a Wonder Woman. She'll do any business (buy & sell of clothes, accessories, cd, dvd, shoes, school supplies; videography and photography, creating invitations, tarpulin & slides, name it & she have it) just to support our needs and education. She is working as a government employee and at the same handling Income tax of doctors. She is my IDOL because she is very hardworking but still a loving Mom to us. She may not be a perfect mother for everybody but for us, She will be always be the BEST GIFT that we could have. I LOVE YOU NAY!
ReplyDeleteMy mama is our super hero. My father works abroad ever since I am 13 years old, but she make it a point that every thing in our family is ok. She is the first one to wake up in the morning and last one to stay awake at night. What I am now, I owe it to her. When my father died 1 month ago, she shows strength and braveness. She is my wall when my father passed away. Because she knows that I am a papa's girl. I love you Mama, i know that this might not be included because the deadline is already over, but I just want to share how lucky I am to have a mama like you.....Mwaaaah
