Our Sofia the First Meet and Greet

8:13 AM

For the nth time, I'm gratified beyond words for consistently including us to Mommy Bloggers Philippines' exclusive events and I must say , they are truly wonderful!

A few days before my birthday, I received an invite for a kiddie event. Although I'm not really familiar with this particular character, my daughters can't hide their delight after revealing a royal meet and greet with Sofia the First.
But who is she really?
She is just an ordinary girl that suddenly forced to learn how to be a princess when her mother marries a king.
She goes from being a spunky only child to one of three royal children.
Disney Junior’s “Sofia the First” has become one of the hottest kids’ programs on cable nowadays.

Of course, for the media, the gates were opened 2 hours prior to the event for the public.
We got there earlier than expected. Excitement overwhelmed them nonetheless.
Mommies with their little princesses lined up along the main mall atrium of SM Mall of Asia awaiting a-meet and-greet Saturday with Sofia the First.
The Royal Preparatory Academy, or Royal Prep for short, is a school where princes and princesses go to learn various studies, particularly in royal etiquette, arts and magic. This is the main location for the Sofia the First meet and greet.
Some dessert stations are meant to stand out just a little more than the rest.
And that is exactly what we saw from this royal dessert booth.
Quite satisfying for the taste buds and a feast for the eyes as well!
Little princesses got to wear Sophia's gown for a moment and enjoy it while exploring other activities in the area.
Prettifying a Sophia wannabe using a kid-friendly makeup. They also had a chance to wear a crown :)
Photo op for my Sophia the first..
and my Sophia the Second :)
All little girls were first taught how to do a curtsy while waiting for Sophia to meet them.
Prizes were given to some lucky audience for the question and answer portion of the show.
Others have consumed their time to some beading activities with their mommies.
Definitely we had fun!
Thank you Toy Kingdom!
Catch Sophia the First - 10am - on Disney Channel :)
