Hey dearies!
Since it's my birthday month, let me spread some birthday love to my lovely readers and share the blessings.

Gather your family with friends and dine now at Movie Stars Cafe , use the code below to avail 10% discount off your dining bill!
What a marvelous treat that is , right?!

But first, have you ever been to the Seaside boulevard in Pasay lately?
New cafes and restaurants around this area keep popping up so fast , we can hardly keep up.
Of course, people love to eat and explore various restaurants whether the economy is soaring and struggling.
Because of this, restaurant owners are constantly finding new ways on how to improve and have unique establishments that will ultimately bring people in your door on a regular basis.
Exuding with character and uniqueness, Movie Stars Cafe will offer you a memorable dining experience you won't get anywhere else.
(Ever so grateful to Mommy Bloggers Philippines for all the event opportunities like this for us mommies!)
"And lo, the beast looked upon the face of beauty, and beauty stayed his hand. And from that day forward, he was as one dead."- King Kong

Frankly speaking, we have been eyeing this one-of-a-kind restaurant for months now. Favorably,an extra slot was given for me to try out the place with the family.
I was advised to be there at 7pm because that's when the real fun starts but the sheer volume of drivers on a Friday caused the long delay that i'd practically chewed half my fingernails out of frustration.
I'm a sucker for movies. Watching movies for me is like a momentary escape from reality.
Appreciating the talent of the actors and the production staff in creating a movie is truly a complete work of art.
So when we got there , I was really in awe of everything and everyone I laid my eyes on.
I was unfortunate enough to visit the place without any extra batteries for my cellphone camera in anticipation of capturing as much of this place as possible.
So forgive me for these poor snapshots of the location.
Please please don't make the same mistakes as i did and bring extra gadgets as much as you can.
Beautifully lit, the comfortable and warm and rich furniture was perfectly balanced.
I was drawn like a magnet to these movie memorabilia and movie posters scattered and mounted on wooden walls. Showcasing props that surrounds every corner of the restaurant.
They have surrounded the area with four big screens and a hundred of monitors playing movies simultaneously with 1000 special lights showcasing first-class presentations of performers in the center stage costumed in your favorite movie motif all prepped to perform every 30 minutes everyday till 12 midnight.
I had seen the film version of Beauty and the Beast for the nth time, and that day we had the opportunity to see the stage play by the restaurant crew.
I really did enjoy the show and do recommend it, especially for children.
When it comes to singing , dancing and stage play,  Filipinos are amazingly multi-talented and do their thing spectacularly well.
Thankfully for us we were led up closer to the stage where we were able to view this truly beautiful set. The set does capture the essence and feel of an affluent entertainment club.
Ms. Inah asked us first to patiently wait a moment as the table was being set up.
Singing "Be our guest" was never this fun and my kids were so thrilled to see Lumiere and Cogsworth with little Chip live up on stage. They were not really a fan of mascots but this was an exception.

During dinner, an impressive buffet had been set up for the audience with a life-sized T-REX can be spotted at their so-called "Dino-Buffet".
The atmosphere was one of fun and excitement while having a feast at a well-spread table during the night.
For our culinary pleasure, we preferred an a la carte menu rather than the buffet blowout believing positively on not exceeding. But of course, we exceeded and paid extra.
The food was superb and my taste buds of course were satisfied yet craving for more. They have huge servings perfect for groupies for sharing.
We opted for PIER21- Hot clam chowder served in a bread bowl.
YAKISOBA- A beef and chicken combined, mixed veggies and quail eggs.
The JACKSON FIVE consisted of chicken lollipop, buffalo chicken wings, almond chicken tenders, chicken sate, chicken tenders , served with honey mustard dressing , buffalo sauce , blue cheese dressing, thousand island and veggies crudities.
Iced teas and coffee.

So sad that my hubby was not there to party with us and explore the world of Movie Stars Cafe, but of course, we will set a date and definitely coming back for a round 2 :)
