Coach Bamboo beefs up Jollibee's camp as the newest ambassador

"Beef! Beef! Beef! Beef!"

The admired musician and world-class performer -- Bamboo, seems pretty much excited about being part of Jollibee's roster of brand ambassadors.

"This will be my first for them, and i can't wait to rock the world with our newest commercial for Jollibee." he admits during the launch of Jollibee Garlic Pepper Beef  TVC held last January 21 in Craft Pub & Grill at The Fort.
Those of us that grew up through the 80's 90's have been a part of a very unique generation I tell you.
I was born in 1980's and those born in that era have seen everything from slow rock to alternative but mostly music from Pinoy bands that dominated the radio airwaves and clubs.

I distinctly remember hearing Bamboo Manalac's voice on almost all popular radio stations (yes, they were known as Rivermaya back then)over and over again, along with the music of other Pinoy bands that probably have been revived as many times by now.
Because of this, the affinity I felt for Bamboo's songs became slightly deep.
He became a huge part of my growing-up years and invaded my mp3 libraries completely.
Back then, you would see me walking to and fro from school with my big black box in my hand that has an AM/FM radio and played cassette tapes.
I listened to Bamboo's songs about a billion times while waiting for my dad to fetch us.
Over the years, Bamboo continues his fame with a number of best-selling albums and sold-out concerts under his belt.
Throughout his more than 2 decades in the local industry, he constantly reinvent himself and his music, reflecting his deep passion for his craft.

I already had the privilege to see him in person twice and when people think he's unapproachable , he's really just a shy, regular guy who enjoy the simple things and yummy things in life.
Like enjoying the yummy juicy beef strips in flavorful pepper sauce, topped with garlic bits that is totally delicious and satisfying favorite that offers great value for money at only 50 pesos!
Yes, you can beef up your every day like Bamboo, with the Jollibee Garlic Pepper Beef available from Mondays to Fridays only.

Mapapa-"beef! beef! beef! beef!" ka din sa sarap!

Although the second team ( including me ) did not win from the exciting rockeoke match with Coach Bamboo, the whole jamming thing with him had already made us winners.
We enjoyed the beefed-up musical performances and most especially we found out more about the man behind the music with the "other side of Bamboo" special, featuring exclusive interviews from friends , band members and members from Kamp Kawayan.

Here is the Jollibee garlic Pepper Beef TVC featuring Bamboo :)
Enjoy!
