#CourageousCaitie's Legacy Continues Through 'A Journey of Hope'

Araneta Center, together with Courageous Light, remembers the purposeful life of the late Caitlin Lucas, also known as Courageous Catie, with a photo exhibit entitled “A Journey of Hope” happening on August 6 to September 3, 2016 at the Gateway Mall Activity Center and Gateway Gallery.
Netizens remember Caitie as the courageous 3-year-old who battled juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), a rare cancer of the blood affecting infants and toddlers.
Before her untimely death, Catie captured the hearts of thousands when her mom started the Facebook page, “Courageous Caitie,” the young girl’s story of strength and faith.

Celebrate on what would have been Caitie’s birthday during the grand launch last August 6 will continue from Aug 7-12 to see the exhibit of Courageous Caitie, showcasing her life in pictures and memorabilia.
The featured photos were taken by her photographer dad, Jay Jay Lucas.
Then from August 13 - September 3, the exhibit will continue in the Gateway Gallery on the 5F Gallery Tower.
All Saturdays of the month-long Courageous Caitie exhibit will be filled with fun family activities that includes parenting talks and kids workshops.

Schedule of Parenting Talks:
Aug 13 - Becoming an Impactful Father (by Arner Ang)
Aug 20 - Purposeful Special Needs Parenting (by Malu Ortiz)
Aug 27 - Embracing Motherhood (by Monique Lopez-Ong)
Sept 3 - How to Support in a Time of Loss (by Cathy Babao)
