The pandemic has definitely affected everyone with the spread of the deadly virus.

In our household, instead of focusing on the negative side, we look for little ways to make things a little better and how we can make a difference.

My schedule in many ways may have been more demanding and full now than it was before, but as a working mom, I'm fortunate to just stay home to avoid the virus as I juggle home-schooling and house chores while I finish my deadlines. My hectic schedule used to kept me away from my children. Now, I'm spending more time than ever with them. Surreal but nice.

My family also found the best people around us. Uniquely gifted people who, throughout the year, gave us the gift of laughter, hope, and strength to keep on. Since my kids needed a lot of comforting during the lockdown months, we regularly get our bread supply from a baker friend (my kids are addicted to bread). They give us free breads,too, and in return, I would order several packs for donation. To them, these were just small, normal, and ordinary things they were used to doing everyday. To us, they were what kept us feeling alive.

We recognize and appreciate the people who has had our backs from beginning to end of year. So let’s give them something to smile for, through a series of posts that are in 2020’s trend book. The fun parts of this year that we want to keep and hopefully tuloy pa rin sa 2021.
