The New 7 Wonders of the World

I'm ecstatic and truly proud that our own PALAWAN'S UNDERGROUND RIVER is among the New7Wonders!
Yeah!
Kudos to you Puerto Princesa Mayor Edward Hagedorn and to us Filipino people!
I love you Philippines!

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 kilometres (30 mi) north of the city center of  Puerto Princesa , Palawan, Philippines. The river also called Puerto Princesa Underground River.
Stalactites and Stalagmites galore!!

The other six New7Wonders of Nature, "based on provisional results", were:

 South America's Amazon River

The 2nd longest river in the world!  Eerie yet spectacular on it's own way:)

Vietnam's Ha long Bay

Literally means "descending dragon bay"

Argentina's Iguazu Falls

"Legend has it that a god planned to marry a beautiful woman named Naipí, who fled with her mortal lover Tarobá in a canoe. In rage the god sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall."

South Korea's Jeju Island

Jeju Island is a volcanic island created entirely from volcanic eruptions.cool!

Indonesia's Komodo Island

Komodo is one of the 17,508 islands that make up the Republic of Indonesia. Particularly notable here is the native KOMODO DRGON.

South Africa's Table Mountain

A flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of cape town in South Africa. Rock climbing and hiking is very popular among locals and tourists.

It said that the list released was "in alphabetical order" and not in any position of ranking.
The official New 7 Wonders of Nature will be announced early 2012 said philstar.com

Hopefully, before the world ends, I can visit all these wonderful places with my hubby and 3 kids. That would totally be "A trip to remember"
