Jollibee and Breeze team up for the Maaga Ang Pasko Laba day :)

As Jollibee's Maaga Ang Pasko commemorates it's 20th year, our favorite fast-food chain wants to further strengthen its commitment to make Christmas even brighter for more kids , led by an army of hard-working blogger moms and showbiz personalities, namely Tintin Bersola-Babao, Regine Tolentino and Betina Carlos, who all volunteered to become a Jolly Toy Scout for a day!

Yes, i was fortunate enough to be part of the clean-up drive by Breeze and Jollibee that was recently held in Mandaluyong , targetting to wash and clean more than 500,000 plush toys donations with Breeze ActiveBleach.
It was an opportunity of a lifetime to contribute our time and effort to help the less fortunate, if not actual gifts.

But first things first!

We all received a shirt , a pair of gloves , mask and bandana to complete the Toy Scout getup.

Aside from the getup, we were told to wear a smile for the clean-up day :)

There were specific stations around the warehouse that we can choose to can help in.

In the "Sorting Area", some of the toys have to be sorted out first either because the toys are not age appropriate or heavily damaged already.
Toys that promotes violence went directly to the reject box.
As well as those dilapidated books, Old and outdated encyclopedia, old text books, books with lewd and adult content.

Other kinds of donations were also received like medicines, canned goods.
Their expiration dates were also checked.
Formal clothes were also a no-no, as well as those Halloween costumes, torn clothing and under garments.
The next time you want to donate, please make sure to just give out clean, appropriate and kid-friendly stuff.
