Jazz smile :) Jazz night with Sitti and Rannie Raymundo
A great night of Jazz, friends and food.
I first heard the voice of Ms. SITTI or Sitti Katrina Navarro (born November 29, 1984 in Las Piñas) on the radio whenI was in college I think, and instantly I became a fan :) She appeared on MYX and the song was para sa akin, I think. She has the sweetest voice and very down to earth.
The event was held at Techno wave bar , Il terrazzo mall in tomas morato in QC,last year of November.
A benefit jazz concert for OPERATION SMILE PHILIPPINES aptly titled “JAZZ SMILE” ~ A Jazz and Bossa Nova Concert featuring Aisaku Yokogawa, Sitti Navarro and Rannie Raymundo with performances by Cercados and Pinoy Soul group Layag.
It was also a post birthday celebration for ms. Sitti and Aisaku.
I was able to meet fellow Facebook Sitti fanatics at the event. New-found friends : Terese Magsalin of Gospel Jam, Reez Buena and Renz Valentin.
Glad to meet the great OPM hit maker RANNIE RAYMUNDO (popularly known for his hit song “Why Can't It Be?) and the funny Japanese lad that sings just like the hit makers and just loves OPM Aisaku Yokogawa. Both men have the greatest voices and the kindest souls!
It was just so heart melting when Mr. Rannie shared the audience about his love story of his wife Ms. Beth. He made the song a few years back, wholeheartedly for her.
Stories like that always makes me want to shed a tear :')
I just wish I could sing a duet with you Ms. Sitti :)
someday..

Thanks to ms. Mj Juco of Tangerine skies, I finally saw Sitti in the flesh!
