LOOK: Nadine Lustre's Ulan On HOOQ

Nadine Lustre seems to be on top of her game as weeks ago,
there was an announcement about her being part of this huge international apparel brand. Now, she's Maya in this romantic drama film ULAN written and directed by Irene Villamor, with Carlo Aquino, Marco Gumabao, and AJ Muhlac. It's also part of the first ever HOOQ Originals Movie.

If you are part of the 3/4 of the Earth's population who are spooked by Friday the 13th, most likely you're superstitious and you will love Nadine's new movie. I see that the writer behind the movie, like what most talented artists do, just conveying thoughts and imagination in a very mysterious but somewhat fantastic or I should say in a bizarre style. Believing in those things is really not a bad thing. In fact, there's a study that superstitions can sometimes work, because believing in something can improve performance on a task.

Maya, a woman fascinated with rain and has the ability to see and interact with mythical (half-horse, half-human-like) creatures called “tikbalang”.

The part of Maya in Ulan marks a breakout for Lustre as she pairs with Carlo Aquino—showcasing her depth and versatility as a leading lady. Aquino, on the other hand, plays Peter, a volunteer for a non-government organization and Maya’s love interest, wants to unearth the mysteries behind Maya’s fascination with rain- alongside co-stars Marco Gumabao and AJ Muhlach.
