Nurturing Future Leaders | Eton International School

Just recently we had our senatorial election and as you already know, it has caused dismay among us Filipinos. Many ponder the future after the frustrating results. What kind of leaders do we really want for the 22nd century? That is very essential when you already have a child. What matter most for us parents? Is it integrity? Collaboration? Communication of an individual?

"I Am A Leader".

These significant words can be seen written at the back of the t-Shirts of each ETON International School students, which is the school's core program. Leadership must be linked together somehow with heart, mind, and will or spirit for some. ETON has created three pioneering programs—the Center for the Talented and Gifted for the pre-schoolers; Center for Leadership and Performing Arts for grade school and Center for Technology and Innovation for high school.

In terms of art, it should have big faith in God, big faith in self, big faith in the family, big faith in the community. However non-sectarian, but a value-based school. They don't teach the mind alone but the heart of a child where the values are universal which is love.

The Eton International School was selected by CCP Board to be the first international school at CCP. 15 years ago, they were granted of a space wherein they could showcase the talents of their students. Artworks of these fine youngsters can be found in every corner of their campus. One of the artworks displayed in front of the school made by one of the preschoolers later became Eton's champion in terms of painting. One of his paintings fetched for $60,000 and the proceeds were all donated to build a hospital wing.

Hitting the communication of their students is their next achievement. They worked with the International Benchmark Test wherein they evaluate all the students all over the world with international programs. The International Benchmark Test is an internationally administered program of assessments to compare student performance globally, between grades and over time.

They were preschoolers and gradeschoolers who took the exams two levels higher. It was the first time that a Philippines School topped the International Benchmark Test in English, Science, and Math. The Eton International School was commended with the Department of Education as one of the tops schools in the country after that monumental IBT exams. Not only that, they became the home of Asia's topnotchers who are now into robotics where they became world champions in aeronautics in China , Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia.

* STEM PROGRAM- Eton’s Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) program has given the Eton students a remarkable edge in this space. “Our global affiliations range from TOFEL to Lego Robotics to International Learning Styles AndMultiple Intelligence. Our program is used in UK, Asia and US,” Tolentino proudly said. – I SOLVE

* HOLISTIC PROGRAM- Eton sets three goals in every school year for students to learn and grow with from subject goals. These could be in arts, language, geography, history, ICT, language, math, music, PE, Science, society and technology); Personal goals ( enquiry resilience morality communication thoughtfulness cooperation respect and adaptability):& Internationalization goals ( local and international collaboration and cooperation.) Students are exposed to different opportunities to grow with their counterparts worldwide through internationalcompetition and fieldwork. – I PRAY

* INTERNATIONAL IMMERSION PROGRAM –Eton has international curriculum linkages that allow our students to easily be accepted abroad. - I CONNECT

* PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM – Eton has confidence building program that allows students to know their strengths and develop their talents at a faster rate through learning styles multiple intelligence and other personality development programs.

Aside from the newly-inaugurated ETON International School-CCP, ETON has another branch near Rockwell located at 6075 Palma St., Poblacion, Makati City which caters to students from the south of the metropolis.
