2:46 PM
Indeed a very festive day as we celebrate #MallingIsMoreFunInThePhilippinesAtSM!

Everyone had a taste of Rizal as SM Malls brought out the finest and creative food of each town. With over 70 malls nationwide, SM continues to serve as a venue for meaningful family bonding moments where everyone can indulge in extraordinary mailing experiences such as bowling, ice skating, watching movies, pampering sessions, or simply having fun with the kids in air-conditioned comfort.
This year, SM Supermalls, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, makes mailing even more fun with the launch of Malling is More Fun in the Philippines campaign with a series of activities and events full of fun, food, and festivity.

Among the lined-up festivities for the campaign is a regional food fair across SM Supermalls. One of which is TASTE OF RIZAL at SM City Masinag. Taste of Rizal is a celebration of the province’s diversity representing its different towns but it is also a celebration of unity through its food. lt brings few of the best cuisines and delicacies the province has to offer. These include Suman at Kasoy of Antipolo, Hibok Hibok of Taytay, Ba/aw-Balaw dishes of Angono, Primablend Leche Flan and Tarts from San Mateo, Buttered Cashews of Teresa, Pichi Pichi of Baras, Black Kutsinta of Binangonan, and Tanay’s own blend of coffee.

Mall tenants also joins the food fair like Goldilocks, Marison’s, SM Supermarket and Dunkin’ Donuts. Taste of Rizal launches with a ceremonial serving of Sumaka dessert made by Marison’s, one of the popular homegrown restaurants in Antipolo and a cooking demo afterwards on how to prepare this
special dessert.
Since Taste of Rizal is celebrated within the month of May, SM City Masinag also celebrates with the City of Antipolo of its Maytime Festival. A hundred festival dancers grace the mall atrium with a lively rendition of the City’s anthem, Tayo Na 50 Antipolo. The festival dancers are young students from Antipolo National High School, Mayamot National High School and San Jose National High School.

Taste of Rizal is one of the activities in the Malling is More Fun in the Philippines campaign oi SM Supermalls and the Department of Tourism.
