Jollibee Joins Forces with Ultramarathoner Natalie Dau for Project 1000 Run Across the Philippines

When you think of joy, determination, and community, two names come to mind: Jollibee and Natalie Dau.

Now, these two forces have come together in a powerful way, as Jollibee proudly partners with Natalie Dau on her epic Project 1000—a 1000-kilometer run across the Philippines that blends endurance with purpose.

For those unfamiliar, Natalie Dau is no ordinary runner. She’s an ultramarathon champion, a Guinness World Record holder, and an advocate for women’s empowerment. After completing her first Project 1000 across Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, she’s taking on a new challenge—running across the Philippines on foot, passing through breathtaking landmarks, connecting with local communities, and supporting life-changing charities.

A Journey Fueled by Passion and Purpose

Project 1000 Philippines kicked off on April 21 in Santa Ana, Cagayan, and will conclude in the heart of Bonifacio Global City, at Jollibee’s 1000th milestone store in Triangle Drive, Taguig. But this run is about more than just the destination—it’s about every meaningful step in between.

Along the route, Jollibee branches across North Luzon have welcomed Natalie and her team with open arms (and delicious food!). On Day 5, the team made a particularly emotional stop in Ilocos Sur, where they hosted a Jollibee Kids Party for the students of Ta-yac Elementary School at the Jollibee Narvacan branch.

“I want you to experience a fun party that only Jollibee can offer,” Natalie told the children with a smile. “I hope you enjoy all the great food and have a fun day.”

And what a day it was! With games, prizes, and a surprise performance by Jollibee and Hetty, the event brought pure joy to everyone involved. The smiles on the kids’ faces said it all.

A Partnership Rooted in Shared Values

For Jollibee, teaming up with Natalie is more than just a sponsorship—it’s a reflection of their brand’s heart.

“We’re delighted to partner with Natalie for Project 1000,” said Dorothy Dee-Ching, VP-Marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “This initiative reflects our core values of spreading joy, promoting resilience, and making a positive impact on communities. It’s an honor to walk—or run—alongside someone so inspiring.”

Natalie’s journey continues through Zambales and Bulacan in the coming days, and each kilometer brings more stories, smiles, and moments of connection.

Running Toward a Brighter Future

Through Project 1000, Natalie is raising awareness and funds for organizations that empower women and girls—a cause that resonates deeply with both her and Jollibee. Together, they are proving that athletic achievement can also be a vehicle for compassion and change.

As Natalie closes in on her final stretch to Jollibee’s 1000th store, this partnership stands as a powerful reminder that resilience, joy, and community spirit can truly go the distance.

Whether it’s through a long run or a simple meal shared with loved ones, Jollibee continues to bring people together—one joyful moment at a time.
