Bloggers' night At Gandiva Cafe and Archery Range

The challenge was simple.
Do you have what it takes to be the next Katniss Everdeen wannabe or Robin Hood for that matter?
Are you ready to know what it feels like to be a superhero vigilante who fights crime using Archery?
It was indeed an opportunity of a lifetime and gave the bloggers ( myself included ) an unprecedented chance to try to make their "defender or villain" dream come true.

I was supposed to be at the venue at exactly 2pm but due to unforeseen circumstances, I got there almost 4 pm already.
Luckily for me the bloggers night has just got started.
The Gandiva Archery Range is located at the 7th floor of One Corporate Center along Julia Vargas Ave in Ortigas Pasig City.

 The building can easily be spotted just across the Caltex Gas Station before going to Megamall.
There is plenty of parking lots within a short walking distance to that building and if i'm not mistaken ,the fee is 40 pesos for 2 hours.

Named after a mythical bow in the ancient poem Mahabharata, Gandiva Archery range brings a certain magic by breathing new life into the art of Archery.

It all began in 2009 when Gandiva's first branch opened in SM Mall of Asia with the aim of populating the sport and of becoming a one-stop shop for fitness, focus and fun.

Some of their basic offerings are the 1-hour archery package, range and equipment rentals, Archery training ( Recurve and compound ), Archery armory ( archery equipment repairs and servicing ) and offset range setup facilitation.

*Compound bows are the complicated ones compared to Recurve which are the much simpler ones used by Green Arrow or Robin hood in TV series.

Anyway, each and one of the event participants tried out the archery range and joined the game against other bloggers, influencers and showbiz personalities and got a chance to take home amazing prizes from different sponsors and Gandiva Archery.

 Ms. Rowena Lim of Animetric's World was also there to try out the challenge.

Kudos to this lucky fellow who bagged the top archer of the night, took home prizes and 12k worth of Archery sessions from Gandiva Cafe and ready to take it to the next level I believe.

The Sessions at Gandiva are at P980/hour, but in case you did not know, they do have a WEEKDAY PROMO and is extended!
For only P680 per hour per person , you get to use the range lane for one hour, archery equipment, a target face, and assistance from their pro staff.

The regular price would be 8,000 Pesos for 20 hours of lessons.
It can be broken up depending on your schedule. Just coordinate with the staff and make reservations ahead of time. Again, this includes range rental, instructor, and equipment.

For health and fitness buffs, Gandiva Cafe caters well for vegans where you can get healthy but still yummy vegan food.

Some celebrities who have graced the ranges at Gandiva are Sarah, not the little princess but THE Sarah Geronimo, Matteo Guidicelli, Liza Soberano, Richard Gomez and many others.
Celebrity ambassador Bangs Garcia is currently enrolled in Gandiva's basic advance module.

Honestly speaking, I was having difficulty for my bow hand to properly grip the string because of my sweaty palms and shaking hands. But it was absolutely an incredible experience and i enjoyed every minute of it nevertheless.
Hitting targets straight on with the precision of Katniss Everdeen is now within reach, thanks to Gandiva Cafe and Archery Range.
Finally, I can have a chance to shoot the apple off of my enemy's head ( but actually targeting the head,lol! ).
