Slammin’ Mini Burgers, Fries, and Dips Experience at TriNoma
I’d rather have rice paired with a viand or a warm soup in front of me. I’ve been eating a lot of those for lunch and dinner lately, so I decided a little greasy protein wouldn’t hurt. Hah!
Instead of going to our usual hangout place, my family and I went to TriNoma a couple of weeks ago and decided to have lunch there as well.
The location is quite convenient, it’s at Food Choices on Level 2. A wide array of new food stalls can be found at the food court, and Slammin’ Mini Burgers was one of them.
We went around lunchtime, so the crowd was a bit overwhelming, not exactly the best time to look for a good dining spot. It’s better to come early, maybe during off-peak hours or off days.
The food stall at the TriNoma branch is a bit smaller compared to other Slammin’ Mini Burgers branches, and only one person is available to take orders and prepare the food at the same time.
For appetizers, we opted for the Loaded Fries in Mighty Mushroom Bacon, topped with onions, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream, which is reasonably priced at ₱125.
For the kiddos, we got them the 6-piece nuggets with dips and added two extra rice servings, since they didn’t really want to eat the burgers.
The food took about five minutes to serve, not bad, considering it was peak lunchtime and there was only one food attendant available.
I'm a great beef lover so this was greatly appreciated.
Don’t get me wrong, when I say “mini burger,” they are anything but lacking in meat.
These will definitely fill up the average person, especially if you order a side of loaded fries to go with it.
The other classic option, the onion-steamed, grilled All American Slider, is pretty good too!
Although I’m not much of an onion fan, I still found it hard to decide whether I preferred the slider or the one with bacon.
The decors are cool too! Yes, these are for viewing purposes only!
Sadly, the desserts were not available that day. I was actually hoping to try their Slammin’ Iceberg, their ice cream served on a bun.
All in all, it was a delicious and interesting experience. If you’re in the area, why not give it a try? If you’re a bit far, they also have other branches at the ground floor of Promenade Mall Greenhills, the 5th floor of Market! Market! near the cinema, and soon at their fourth branch in Robinsons Magnolia, set to open in the 4th quarter of 2014.
