Crizal Transitions' first ever Cinema Jam 2013 happening this November

The world continues to move forward at an incredible pace, with innovation shaping nearly every aspect of our daily lives. From cutting-edge gadgets to smart lifestyle solutions, technology is making things not only more convenient but also more meaningful. One area that has seen remarkable progress is eyewear, now designed not just for vision correction, but for overall eye protection and comfort.

I first learned more about advanced lens technology through my sister, an optometrist, who couldn’t stop talking about Essilor. Known globally for its commitment to improving vision, the company develops high-quality ophthalmic lenses that help protect and enhance eyesight.

Curious, she handed me a pair of clear eyeglasses from her clinic and encouraged me to wear them throughout the day. At first, I thought she was joking. After all, I’ve always had 20/20 vision and never really needed glasses. But the moment I tried them, I immediately noticed the difference.

These were Crizal Transitions Lenses, lenses that automatically adjust to changing light conditions. Indoors, they stayed clear. Step outside, and they darkened instantly to shield my eyes from harsh sunlight. It felt effortless, yet incredibly effective.

What impressed me most was the level of protection. These lenses block 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays while helping reduce eye strain and fatigue. In today’s environment, where we’re constantly exposed to screens and sunlight, protecting our eyes is no longer optional, it’s essential. Even children, who are especially vulnerable, can benefit from this kind of everyday protection.

That’s why I was excited to attend a special event hosted by Essilor last October 23, 2013, at Aracama Filipino Cuisine. The gathering brought together bloggers and media to promote an upcoming event that truly stood out.

Mark your calendars for November 30, 2013, as Crizal Transitions presents its first-ever Cinema Jam at Circuit Makati. This unique outdoor event combines a movie marathon with a live music festival, perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend the day.

Adding excitement to the event, KC Montero shared that all proceeds will benefit World Vision Foundation, supporting children in need. It’s entertainment with a purpose, something that makes the experience even more worthwhile.

Music lovers are in for a treat, with performances from some of the country’s top bands including Bamboo, Itchyworms, Callalily, Moonstar88, and Gracenote. Meanwhile, movie enthusiasts can enjoy screenings of Love Actually and Limitless, both reflecting the theme of seeing life in a brighter light.

Beyond music and movies, guests can explore the Optical Village for free vision screenings and enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities like bungee jumping, skating, and kite flying. There will also be games and raffle prizes, making it a full day of fun and surprises.

Tickets are priced at ₱1,350 and are available via Ticketworld. Even better, you can get two free tickets with every pair of Crizal Transitions lenses purchased.

If you’re looking for something different this November, this is your chance to enjoy great entertainment while supporting a meaningful cause. It’s not just an event, it’s a celebration of better vision, brighter moments, and giving back.
