PHILIP- Lifestyle Guy , is a show that gives the audience the chance to win these experiences and the lifestyle aspects they would feature in the show , at the confines of their own living rooms.
I had the honor and privilege to be part of this media launch earlier this day, held at the second branch of Rub Ribs and Bbq, 88 East drive Kapitolyo in Pasig , along with fellow bloggers, writers and media men of TV5.
First things first . Rub Ribs and Bbq have opened their 1st 20-seater resto in Scout Rallos In Quezon city in 2011 .
This year , they have opened their 3rd branch on Nicanor Garcia st.in Makati City.
Acknowledging first their bestsellers , Raki's BBQ , which comes in three sizes.
One can enjoy it as a meal ( SIngles - half rack, good for one) , or share it on a date ( Super Duo - one rack , good for two) . Or invite some friends and enjoy their tender off-the-bone ribs with it's signature sauce (Family Brunch - Two racks , good for four) These comes with one, two, three sides , respectively.
Also on their Menu are Buffalo Wings with a kick , served with a bleu cheese sauce ; Rub beef - US hanging tender cooked salpicao style , as well as Grilled Fish using Creamy Dory and topped with Spinach and Garlic.
The good waiters served us Pizzadilla, Nachos and Onion rings with Special salsa and dips on the side to nibble on while waiting for the event to start. For our Entree , we had the famous BBQ ribs.
Philip Abacidio , a well-known PR practitioner , established RPA and communicate where he mastered the ropes of the lifestyle industry. Has always been associated with the success of the products and brands he launched for his clients.
Gave him a chance to hobnob with some of the country's known celebrities , showbiz, business , politics and media . he adds color to the viewing experience with a lifestyle magazine and talk show on it's second season called " It's more fun with PHILIP" every sunday at 830pm.
Philip believes that there are a lot of things to be discovered by filipinos from all walks of life .
"A good lifestyle, must not only be enjoyed by people who can afford , but must also be made relevant to all our kapatid here and abroad. We hope to provide a lifestyle show where we all learn and be more conscious of the beautiful , inspiring and delicious things around us . It's a show that i'm hoping will educate , entertain and inspire all of us. " he later explains.
