Trick or Treasure Halloween Costume Contest
On October 27, 2013, Sunday, participants to the Trick or Treasure Halloween Costume Contest should register at the Gateway Mall Activity Area starting from 10:00AM to 11:30AM.
Kids ages 4 to 12 years old are qualified to join the Trick or Treasure Halloween Costume Contest.
The theme for the Trick or Treasure Halloween Costume Contest is “Favorite Disney Character.” Participants should come in their favorite Disney character costume.
The participants will parade in their Disney costumes at 4:00PM at the Gateway Mall Activity Area. The winners will be selected during this time.
The criteria for judging are as follows:
Creativity 30%
Adherence to the Disney theme 50%
Stage presence/audience impact 20%
Total: 100%
The winners will be announced at the end of the Trick or Treasure Halloween event. Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Toon Madness is a contest open to kids age 12 years old and below. To join, get an application form at the department store’s Customer Service Counter. A photocopy of the child’s birth certificate, 5R prints of the child’s photo (close up, half-body, and full-body) showing him in a toon character costume and the kid’s photo in electronic file (soft copy) CD are also required.
The 5R prints must be studio-photographed with plain solid background. Applications must also be accompanied by SLEDS tape receipt dated October 1 to 31, worth P500 inclusive of any character products plus one pumpkin pail.
Deadline for submission is Oct. 31.
The first 50 entries with complete requirements will win a passport to Sta. Lucia Mall’s trick or treat event on October 27.
Entries will be uploaded at Sta Lucia's official Facebook page for online voting on November 2 (starting 1 p.m.) up to 3 p.m. of Nov. 18. The number of likes makes up 50 percent of the criteria (the other 50 percent comes from judges’ ratings).
