The biggest and the much-awaited Halloween event of the year is actually happening on October 31!

About 3,000 zombies will lurch and drag their way down to Makati’s financial business district and take over their city! I am privilege enough to be part to this huge gatherings of the undead . Yes, you heard me. I will rise and become one of them. Dreams do come true somehow! This 6k run has already received the endorsement of Makati Mayor Junjun Binay as well as the Makati Tourism Office.

The Halloween fest will be an all night – all morning street festival highlighted by:

Live performances of the country’s Top Bands such as CALLALILY, SANDWICH, 6CYCLEMIND, CHICOSCI, GRACENOTE, MOONSTAR 88, and several other surprise guests—each one promising to perform their biggest hits and newest songs.
Exhilarating sets by Top DJs that will also be in place for those who’d rather dance the night away with other celebrity guests expected to make an appearance and join in the festivities.
Foodies are also in for a treat as MERCATO CENTRALE will be holding one of its biggest Food Bazaars at the venue
Halloween Couture Fashion Show
Love watching The fast and The Furious? There will be a Car Show for the car freaks out there ,with the most popular automotive brands and set-ups in the industry today
Halloween Costume Contests for the kids and the kids at heart

Makati after dark will not only help promote Makati and attract more local and foreign visitors, it will also benefit the displaced families affected by the recent earthquake in Bohol and Cebu, respectively. “We’ve all seen the damage and how the calamity has affected its residents, especially the children that is why we will be donating part of the proceeds in the relief efforts, we hope this would greatly help them recover and return to their normal lives,” J.R. Usi, the promoter, explained.

“Makati, has always been the preferred venue for pioneering events, whether its fashion, food, arts and culture—and even for some advocacy and political rallies—making it the perfect place to launch our “After Dark” series" he added.
